Nach dem Klemmen des Druckanfanges wird der Plattenzylinder im langsam soweit vorwärts gedreht, bis die Druckende-Spannschiene ebenfalls gut zugänglich ist und das nachlaufende Ende der Druckplatte in eben diese Druckende-Spannschiene eingeführt werden kann. Für den registergerechten Sitz der Druckplatte auf dem Plattenzylinder ist neben dem exakten Ausrichten bzw. Anlegen der Druckanfangkante der Druckplatte auch das möglichst gleichmäßige Aufziehen der Druckplatte während des Vorwärtsdrehens des Plattenzylinders von großer Bedeutung. Diese Zuführsysteme umfassen u.a. an dem Außenumfang des Plattenzylinders an- bzw. von diesem abstellbare Andrückrollen, welche insbesondere nach entsprechender Positionierung des Plattenzylinders das Druckende der Druckplatte in die entsprechende Spannschiene einführen soll. Die Andrückrolle gemäß der EP 0 431 575 A2 ist an dem schwenkbaren Ende eines an dem Plattenzylinder anstellbaren Druckplattenmagazins angeordnet und vermag somit aufgrund der in dieser Schrift erkennbaren Hebelverhältnisse keine ausreichenden Andruckkräfte der Druckplatte an den Außenumfang des Plattenzylinders aufzubringen. In den Fig. 1 bis 4 ist jeweils ein Plattenzylinders 1 dargestellt, in dessen Zylindergrube 2 eine dem Druckanfang DA und dem Druckende DE zugeordnete vordere und hintere Spannschiene 3, 4 angeordnet ist. Die vordere Spannschiene 3 besteht, wie in den Fig. 1 bis 4 lediglich angedeutet, aus einer oberen und einer unteren Klemmschiene, wobei die untere Klemmschiene zum Öffnen bzw. Schließen eines für die Druckplatte 5 vorgesehenen Erfassungsbereiches gegenüber der oberen Klemmschiene bewegbar ist. Die hintere Spannschiene 4 besteht ebenfalls aus einer oberen und einer unteren Klemmschiene, wobei ebenfalls die untere Klemmschiene gegenüber der oberen beweglich ist und dadurch das Druckende einer Druckplatte zwischen diese Teile einführbar ist. Die hintere Spannschiene 4 ist ferner schwenkbar in der Zylindergrube 2 angeordnet, wobei die dargestellte Stellung einer ganz geöffneten Stellung der Spannschiene 4 entspricht. Durch ein Vorschwenken der Spannschiene 4 kann der Endbereich einer Druckplatte 5 in den Erfassungsbereich zwischen oberer und unterer Klemmleiste eingeführt, anschließend geklemmt und sodann durch Zurückschwenken unter Kraftaufwendung gespannt werden. Die Anbringung und die Lagerung der Abkantleiste 8 gegenüber der Andrückrolle 6 bzw. deren Lagerhebel 7 ist dabei derart, daß die durch die Andrückrolle 6 im Bereich des Druckendes DE gehaltene Druckplatte 5 genau um eine jenseits des Druckendes DE gelegene Abkantung 9 des Plattenzylinders 1 gebogen wird (Fig. 5). Die hintere Kante der Druckplatte 5 kommt dabei in vorteilhafter Weise auf einer entsprechend gestalteten Anschlagfläche 10 der ganz geöffneten Spannschiene 4 - also in diesem Falle der ganz zurückgeschwenkten Spannschiene 4 - zum Liegen. In den Fig. 6 und 7 ist die Betätigungseinrichtung 18 der Abkantleiste 8 dargestellt. An beiden Seitengestellwänden 12 ist je ein doppelt wirkender, mit Druckluft beaufschlagbarer Arbeitszylinder 19 angeordnet, dessen Kolbenstange an jeweils einen Arm eines winkelig ausgeführten Doppelhebels 20 angelenkt ist. An beiden Gestellseitenwänden 12 sind die Doppelhebel 20 um je einen Gelenkbolzen 21 schwenkbar gelagert. Die freien Enden der Doppelhebel 20 weisen jeweils eine Laufrolle 22 auf, über welche die Doppelhebel 20 auf die Abkantleiste 8 einwirken können. Die Winkelgebung der Doppelhebel 20 sowie die Anbringung der Gelenkbolzen 21 ist dabei derartig gewählt, so daß die Abkantleiste 8 bei angestellter Andrückrolle 6 beim Schalten der Arbeitszylinder 19 über die Laufrollen 22 aus der Ausgangsstellung (Federkraft) in die zum Abkanten der Druckplatte 5 vorgesehene Stellung vorverschoben wird (Fig. 5 und 6). Beim entsprechenden Rückschalten der Arbeitszylinder 19 langt die Abkantleiste 8 wieder in ihre Ausgangsstellung. Der Doppelhebel 20 ist dabei um einen derartigen Winkelbetrag zurückgeschwenkt, daß die Abkantleiste 8 beim Abstellen der Andrückrolle 6 durch die Laufrolle 22 keine Behinderung erfährt (die Grundstellung des Doppelhebels 20 ist in Fig. 6 gestrichelt eingezeichnet).6 and 7, the
Fig. 8 zeigt eine besonders vorteilhafte Profilgebung für die erfindungsgemäße Abkantleiste. Die Abkantleiste 8 hat hier das bogenförmige Profil eines Rohrabschnittes, welches um die Achse 13 der Andrückrolle 6 um einen bestimmten Winkelbetrag (Pfeil) drehbar gelagert ist. Durch dieses Profil kann die Abkantleiste 8 (ihr auf die Druckplatte 5 einwirkendes Ende) sehr nahe an der Andrückrolle 6 angebracht sein und weist ferner eine sehr hohe Durchbiegungssteifigkeit auf. Eine derartig ausgestaltete Abkantleiste 8 ist über nicht dargestellte Arme wenigstens an ihren Enden drehbar um die Achse 13 gelagert und wird wie zuvorstehend angedeutet im angeschwenkten Zustand der Andrückrolle 6 über die Doppelhebel 20 betätigt. Claims (14)
- Device for applying a printing plate (5) to the plate cylinder (1) of a printing press, particularly a sheet offset printing press, in which a printing plate (5) fixable with the print start region (DA) against a tensioning rail arranged in the cylinder channel (2) of the plate cylinder (1) with the plate cylinder (1) turning forwards can be drawn by a pressing-on roller (6) which can be set against this around the exterior periphery of the plate cylinder (1) and thereafter the trailing end of the printing plate (5) can be fed for fixing this to a tensioning rail arranged relative to the print end (DE), characterised in that in the direction of rotation of the plate cylinder (1) arranged before the pressing-on roller (6) is a bending off bar (8) extending parallel thereto, which can be set via an actuation device (18) against the plate cylinder (1) when it has been brought into a given angular position so that the printing plate (5) is bendable around a chamfer (9) at the print end (DE) of the plate cylinder (1).

- Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the actuation device (18) is installed fixed to the frame and is constructed thereto so that it can only be brought to act on the bending off bar (8) with the pressing-on roller (6) set on.
- Device according to Claim 3, characterised in that on both of the side frame walls (12) carrying the plate cylinder (1) is arranged in each case an actuation unit (18) by means of which in each case action can be applied to one end of the bending off bar (8).
- Device according to Claim 2, 3 or 4, characterised in that the actuation device (18) has a working cylinder (19) supported fixed with respect to the press which acts on one arm of a double lever (20) mounted about an axle fixed to the frame and that the bending off bar (8) is actuatable by the free arm of the double lever (20).
- Device according to Claim 5, characterised in that against the free arm of double lever (20) there is installed a running roller (22) acting on the bending off bar (8).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bending off bar (8) with the shape acting on the printing plate (5) as well as the plate cylinder (1) has an arched contour.
- Device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the bending off bar (8) has slots (16) at both ends via which it is applied by means of screws (17) movably against the bearing levers (7) of the pressing-on roller (6).
- Device according to Claim 4, 5 or 6, characterised in that the bending off bar (8) is constructed either by its cross-sectional profile and/or by being shaped in its direction of extension to compensate for overall bending.
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the bending off bar (8) has an arcuate shape of a section of a tube and is mounted rotatably around the pressing-on roller (6).
- Device according to Claim 10, characterised in that the bending off bar (8) is supported via at least two bearings separated from one another in the direction of extension of the bending off bar (8) rotatably on the axle (13) of the pressing-on roller (6).
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the pressing-on roller (6) is divided into several sections which are in the shape of individual shells (14) drawn via in each case a pair of radial bearings (15) on to an axle (13) running between both of the swivellable ends of both bearing levers (7).
- Device according to Claim 12, characterised in that the axle (13) for overall bending compensation has a convex curvature directed in the direction of the plate cylinder (1).
- Device according to one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that on the tensioning rail (4) arranged at the print end (DE) there is set a support surface (10) on which the end of the printing plate (5) bent around the chamfer (9) can be supported.
