Claims (8)
- A board (1) with a postforming edge (16), made of a wooden material, such as chip wood, solid wood, plywood, fibers of medium density (MDF), or the like, at least one surface (3, 4) thereof being provided with a coating (2) of a relatively thin material, wherein at least one front side (21) of said board (1) is formed as a postforming edge (16),
characterized in that
said postforming edge (16) consists of at least two component layers (2, 6) supporting each other, namely a sheet-like flexible coating (2) and a coating carrier (6) supporting said coating (2), said carrier (6) forming part of said board (1) in the shape of a relatively thin component layer and being bent around and connected with said front side (21) together with said coating (2). - The board of claim 1, characterized in that said coating carrier (6) is a wooden veneer (pared or knife-cut veneer) (17) or a plywood layer (22).
- The board of claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that said coating (2) of said coating carrier (6) is made of paper, thin paper, or polyvinyl chloride laminate.
