Das Ausrichten der Vorderkanten erfolgt bisher von Hand über ein geeignetes Werkzeug (Schraubenschlüssel). Dies ist aber nicht nur umständlich und kann auch nur bei stillstehender Maschine erfolgen, sondern vor allen ist es nachteilig, daß beim Verstellen einer bestimmten Vordermarke die Bedienungsperson den Sichtkontakt mit dieser Vordermarke verliert, um nämlich die Verstellung über den Schraubenschlüssel vornehmen zu können. Es ist dann keine direkte und unmittelbare Kontrolle möglich, ob die gefundene Verstellung ausreichend bzw. zu groß war. Jede der Steuereinheiten hat erste Drucktasten 9 zum Anwählen einer bestimmten der Vordermarken 3 bzw. der diesen Vordermarken zugeordneten Stellmotoren.
