Definitions
- Stations of the kind mentioned are equipped with devices varying the length of the line according to the load to keep the tension of the carrier-tractor cable substantially constant.
- the support pulley for the return pulley slides, under the action of a jack or any other tensioning system, in the longitudinal direction of the line.
- these deflections are significant and require free spaces, which impose implantation constraints on the other constituent parts of the station.
- the trajectory of a transfer rail, bypassing the return pulley must be long enough not to hinder the displacements of the pulley and the length of the station may depend on it. It has already been proposed to postpone the pulley towards the rear of the transfer rail, but this arrangement complicates the general arrangement of the station.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a station with a simple structure allowing movements of the tension pulley and it is characterized in that said transfer rail is carried by said carriage to move with said pulley and to maintain a constant relative position between the pulley and the rail.
- the tension pulley and the transfer rail are mounted on the same sliding support and their constant relative position is thus perfectly defined and optimal. This arrangement also facilitates the driving of the vehicle propulsion means on the transfer rail, either by the return pulley or directly by the cable.
- the sliding carriage is advantageously a metal structure in the form of a frame having beams extending along transfer rail, which is fixed thereto, in particular by supports in the form of a swan neck. These supports also maintain the propulsion means, for example the friction wheels, driving the vehicles on the rail.
- the carriage is carried by one or more pillars, preferably central, extending in the vertical plane containing the longitudinal axis of the station and of the line and which carry fixed rollers for supporting and guiding the carriage.
- the rollers cooperate with beams or internal beams of the carriage which frame the pillars. Any other structure, in particular for hanging from the ceiling of a frame is of course usable.
- the pulley and the rail are preferably substantially in the same horizontal plane arranged at the same height as the line at the entrance to the station.
- the station may include a protective building or simply shelters or protective covers for certain parts.
- an overhead cable 10 of a single-cable chairlift which could be a gondola or a similar single-cable transporter, passes through the station on a return pulley 11, driven in rotation by a motor 12.
- the seats 13 are fixed to a clamp 14 for coupling to the cable 10, having a control lever 15 and rollers 16.
- a fixed declutching ramp 17 uncouples the clamp 14 from the cable 10, while the rollers 16 of the clamp engage on a transfer rail 18 which bypasses half-loop the pulley 11.
- the rail 18 extends to the exit of the station where a fixed clutch ramp 19 again couples the clamp 14 to the cable 10.
- staggered sets of wheels tires 20 which frictionally drive the clamps 14 to move the seats 13 in the station and possibly to brake and accelerate them respectively at the entry and exit. Any other drive means, in particular by a chain is of course usable.
- Such detachable chairlifts and their operation are well known.
- the pulley 11 with a vertical axis is carried by an elongated carriage 21, mounted to slide along the longitudinal axis XX of the station and of the line defined by the cable 10.
- the carriage 21 has two upper internal beams 22 formed by I-sections and forming a rectangular frame supported on rollers 23 with fixed horizontal axes perpendicular to the axis XX.
- the flanges of the profiles 22 roll on the rollers 23 to allow the carriage 21 to slide along the axis XX of the station.
- Two internal counter-beams 24 in the square of the carriage 21 cooperate with the underside of the rollers 23 to avoid any tilting of the carriage 21, which is guided in its movement by any appropriate means.
- the rollers 23 are arranged on either side of pillars 25 anchored to the ground and arranged in the axis XX of the station.
- the internal beams 22, 24 are joined by crosspieces 27 to form a rigid support frame to which are fixed, by transverse beams 28, two external beams 29 which extend parallel to the two rectilinear longitudinal sections of the transfer rail 18.
- a transverse beam 30 straight or curved and integral with the carriage 21 extends along the rear part of the transfer rail 18.
- the external branches of the arches 31 can be connected by a belt 34 to constitute with the arches 31 a support frame for a protective cover, not shown, the transfer rail 18 and associated propulsion means.
- the friction wheels 20 can be driven by a separate motor carried by the carriage 21 or preferably by a power take-off on the cable 10 or the pulley 11.
- the geared motor group 12 for driving the pulley 11 is suspended from the carriage 21 while being housed between the pillars 25 to participate in the stability of the assembly. If the return pulley 11 is not the driving pulley, the absence of the geared motor group 12 simplifies the arrangement of the station.
- the mobile carriage 21 carries the tension pulley 11, the transfer rail 18, the declutching and clutching ramps 17, 19, the motor unit 12 and the means of propulsion 20 of the seats on the rail 18. All these elements, which are the active parts of the station, are fixed relative to each other and their position, in particular that of the transfer rail 18 relative to the pulley 11, can be perfectly defined.
- the assembly moves as a single unit along the axis XX to compensate for the load variations and the travel travel depends solely on the length of the carriage 21.
- the length of the transfer rail 18 is determined solely by the lengths of the acceleration and deceleration sections and those of the loading and / or unloading platforms, and this length is independent of the travel of the pulley 11.
- the station can be incorporated into a building, but it is designed for use without special shelter. It is clear that the carriage 21 can be suspended from a support structure and the pulley 11 can be placed under the carriage 21, other arrangements being conceivable. The carriage 21 can also be fitted with wheels which can roll on fixed rails.
- the basic elements of the station can be used for a simplified station, for example for an installation with fixed attachments, the station of which is deprived of a transfer rail and of devices for clutching and disengaging the clamps.
- a simplified station is obviously scalable since it can be easily transformed into a station of an installation with disengageable clamps by the addition of elements for taking charge of vehicles disengaged from the cable. The customer can thus adapt his installation to real needs without excessive modification.

Abstract
Description
- a return pulley over which said cable passes,
- a vehicle declutching device at the entrance to the station,
- a vehicle clutching device at the station exit,
- a transfer rail extending in line with the line in the station, to guide the vehicles disengaged from the cable from the entrance to the exit of the station, passing on boarding and / or landing platforms, said rail in the form of a half-loop bypassing said pulley,
- a support carriage for said pulley capable of sliding along the longitudinal axis of said line connecting the two stations,
- a tensioning device urging said carriage in the direction of tension of said carrier-tractor cable.
The invention is described below as being applied to a detachable chairlift, but it is clear that it applies to other similar installations, such as cable cars or cable cars.
Stations of the kind mentioned are equipped with devices varying the length of the line according to the load to keep the tension of the carrier-tractor cable substantially constant. To this end, the support pulley for the return pulley slides, under the action of a jack or any other tensioning system, in the longitudinal direction of the line. In certain installations these deflections are significant and require free spaces, which impose implantation constraints on the other constituent parts of the station. In particular, the trajectory of a transfer rail, bypassing the return pulley, must be long enough not to hinder the displacements of the pulley and the length of the station may depend on it. It has already been proposed to postpone the pulley towards the rear of the transfer rail, but this arrangement complicates the general arrangement of the station.
The object of the present invention is to provide a station with a simple structure allowing movements of the tension pulley and it is characterized in that said transfer rail is carried by said carriage to move with said pulley and to maintain a constant relative position between the pulley and the rail.
The tension pulley and the transfer rail are mounted on the same sliding support and their constant relative position is thus perfectly defined and optimal. This arrangement also facilitates the driving of the vehicle propulsion means on the transfer rail, either by the return pulley or directly by the cable.
By mounting the declutching and / or clutch devices and possibly the motor, when the pulley is driving, on the same carriage supporting the pulley and the transfer rail, all the active parts of the station are grouped together and fixed the relative to each other, which facilitates the arrangement of the assembly.
The sliding carriage is advantageously a metal structure in the form of a frame having beams extending along transfer rail, which is fixed thereto, in particular by supports in the form of a swan neck. These supports also maintain the propulsion means, for example the friction wheels, driving the vehicles on the rail. The carriage is carried by one or more pillars, preferably central, extending in the vertical plane containing the longitudinal axis of the station and of the line and which carry fixed rollers for supporting and guiding the carriage. The rollers cooperate with beams or internal beams of the carriage which frame the pillars. Any other structure, in particular for hanging from the ceiling of a frame is of course usable. The pulley and the rail are preferably substantially in the same horizontal plane arranged at the same height as the line at the entrance to the station.
It is clear that the station may include a protective building or simply shelters or protective covers for certain parts.
- la figure 1 est une vue en plan d'une station selon l'invention;
- Figure 1 is a plan view of a station according to the invention;
- Figure 2 is a section along line II-II of FIG. 1.
At the entrance to the station, a fixed
According to the present invention, the
It can be seen that the
The station can be incorporated into a building, but it is designed for use without special shelter. It is clear that the
The basic elements of the station can be used for a simplified station, for example for an installation with fixed attachments, the station of which is deprived of a transfer rail and of devices for clutching and disengaging the clamps. Such a simplified station is obviously scalable since it can be easily transformed into a station of an installation with disengageable clamps by the addition of elements for taking charge of vehicles disengaged from the cable. The customer can thus adapt his installation to real needs without excessive modification.
