It has over its entire inner periphery a series of identical trapezoidal teeth 96 and over its entire outer periphery a series of triangular snap-in teeth 97 identical. For a better understanding of the operation of the chronograph, some of these teeth 96 and 97 have been identified by literal indices in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4.
- the reset cam 49 can move bidirectionally with a single step either clockwise (arrow F1) or counterclockwise (arrow F2). It has a notch 98a on its outer periphery substantially at 5.30 am and between 0 and 1 hour (substantially at 0.30 am) a notch 98b. On its internal periphery is provided a clearance 99a extending from the level of the external notch 98b and an internal notch 99f provided at 2 o'clock. Other internal notches 99b, 99c, 99d and 99e are respectively made at 9 o'clock, between 7 and 8 o'clock, at 7 o'clock and at 4 o'clock. As illustrated in FIGS.
- the cams 48 and 49 are actuated by an on and off rocker 100 and by a reset rocker 101, both are of practically identical shape.
- the on and off rocker 100 is articulated at one of its ends around a pivot 102, while the reset rocker 101 is articulated at one of its ends around a pivot 103.
- the rocker on and off 100 includes a bean-shaped opening 104 which defines three particular positions of the rocker, namely a rest position in which the pivot 103 is in contact with the rounded 105 inside the opening, an unstable position in which the same pivot 103 is in contact with the other external rounded 106 of the opening and an intermediate position for crossing a hard point defined by the lateral edge of the opening 104 which for this purpose defines a notch 104a.

- the teeth 96d and 96e of the cam 48 also move naturally by half a step, but they cannot act on the lever 88 of the blocker 86, because the front spout 92 of the latter is held towards the interior by the upper range formed by the internal periphery of the cam 49, until the tooth 96e of the cam 48 supports the spout 93 of the lever 88. As a result, the blocker 86 remains separated from the wheel chronograph 20.
