Description

The invention relates to a weaving machine according to the preamble of claim 1.

German Offenlegungsschrift 30 06 363 (Egelhaaf) describes a device in which two coupling elements on a coupling part of the shaft drive can be pushed apart by an eccentric if the heald shaft with its coupling part is to be inserted between both coupling elements. After the shaft-side coupling part has been pushed into the coupling part of the shaft drive, the eccentric is disengaged from the coupling elements so that they can engage with projections in corresponding recesses of the coupling part on the heald frame. Embodiments with only a single coupling element are also described in the DOS mentioned. The device has the disadvantage that the coupling part on the shaft drive side is designed to be very voluminous, since the coupling elements or the coupling element, the actuating tool and the coupling part of the heald frame must have space in its interior.

In the course of the further development of weaving machines, efforts are being made to keep the moving masses as small as possible so that higher operating speeds can be achieved.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a loom in which the coupling parts are designed to be particularly low in mass and the heald frame can be inserted in a vertical movement into the coupling part on the shaft drive side.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the bearing point of the coupling element on the coupling part in question is arranged separately from the bearing surfaces on the same coupling part, that the coupling element has engagement surfaces in each case for the bearing surfaces of the shaft-side coupling part and for the bearing surfaces of the shaft-side coupling part, these engagement surfaces being local are arranged separately in the vicinity of the bearing surface at the central bearing point of the coupling element on the coupling part and that the coupling part on the shaft side can be inserted into the coupling part on the shaft drive side, in such a way that in the coupled state the coupling element encloses the coupling parts pushed one over the other.

This design allows the coupling parts to be made very slim, which achieves the desired reduction in mass.

In FIG. 1, a pair of tabs 11, 11 'are fastened to the heald frame 1 below a support 15 and carry a bolt 12 on which the shaft-side coupling part 10 is located. It has a recess 10 'at the bottom and a pocket 14 with contact surfaces 14' and 14 ''. The coupling part 10 can be inserted vertically into the coupling element 3 with the heald frame 1 according to the direction of arrow A. The coupling element consists of two Coupling wedges 31 and 31 ', which are held together by two cover plates 30 and 30'. In Figure 1, only the rear cover plate 30 can be seen, since the coupling element 3 is shown in section without a front cover plate 30 '. The coupling wedges 30, 31 are firmly connected to the cover plates 30, 30 ', for example by humping at the connection points 32. The plates 30 and 30' are circular, segments being cut off outside the coupling wedges 31, 31 ', and have a central one Bore, which forms a bearing surface 27 on a bolt 23. The bolt 23 is seated in a bore of a projection 20 ′ on the coupling part 20 on the shaft drive side. The bearing point 26 of the coupling element 3 on the lower coupling part 20 is therefore the fulcrum of the coupling element 3. It can be brought into different positions by an actuating tool 5. In Figure 1, the actuating tool 5 has been pivoted counterclockwise in the direction of arrow C, the lower coupling part 20 being in the open position. At the bottom of the coupling part 20 is a bumper 21 which transmits the stroke movements of the shaft drive according to FIG. 5 to the shaft. The coupling wedges 31 and 31 'have engagement surfaces 35, 36 and 35', 36 ', with which they are in engagement with contact surfaces 14', 14 '' after the upper coupling part 20 has been retracted. This is brought into the closed position by moving the actuating tool 5 according to arrow B.

For a clearer illustration, the situation according to FIG. 1 is shown again in perspective in FIG. 2, only the rear plate 30 of the coupling element 3, which is congruent with the front plate 30 ', not shown, being shown. Likewise, only the rear flap 11, which is congruent with a front flap 11 ', is drawn, which on the one hand on the carrier 15, the with the shaft 1 is connected, is attached, on the other hand carries the bolt 12.

In Figure 3, the coupling parts 10 and 20 and the coupling element 3 are drawn in the closed state. A snap coupling 33 according to FIG. 3 a engages over the push rod 21 in the closed state of the coupling parts 10 and 20, as a result of which the operating position of the coupling is secured. In the operating position, the actuating tool 5 is pivoted such that the roller 51 'of the actuating tool 5 is in the dot-dash position in FIG. 3. FIG. 3b shows a side view of the arrangement, in particular the tabs 11 and 11 ', which carry the coupling element 10 on the shaft side, and the plates 30 and 30', which hold the coupling wedges 31 and 31 'together. The whole arrangement is very slim, since up to about 20 heald frames have to be arranged next to each other in a weaving machine.

The actuating tool 5 is shown schematically in FIG. It essentially consists of a drive shaft 53, which is connected to a pneumatic actuator 55, a crank arm 54, which is non-rotatably connected to the drive shaft 53, and axes 52 and 52 ', which carry rollers 51, 51'. The actuating tool 5 can be pivoted in the direction of the arrows B, C by means of the actuator 55. The lines 56, 56 'serve to supply compressed air.

After the shafts 1 according to FIG. 5 have been inserted into the weaving machine by a lifting device when changing the article in the weaving machine, the weaver only has to enter a command into the control device 6 of the weaving machine, not shown, so that the Actuator 55 pivots the actuating tool 5 in the closed position. All inserted shafts 1 are thus coupled to the bumpers 21 of the shaft drive 2. The bumpers 21 are connected via angle levers 22 to push rods 25 of the shaft drive, which in turn are actuated by the weaving machine's shaft machine, not shown.

As can be seen from FIG. 3, tensile forces in the bumper 21 are transmitted from one coupling part 10 to the other coupling part 20 by means of the coupling element 3 at the engagement surfaces 36 and 36 ', while impact forces from one coupling part 10 to the other coupling part 20 in the region of the recess 10 or the projection 20 'are transmitted.
