Der Standfuß 9 ist dreiteilig gegliedert in einen - auf den Kopf gestellten - zylindrischen Topf 10, an dem das Basisteil 8 ansetzt, ein als Kreisscheibe ausge­bildetes Verschlußteil 11 sowie einen auf das Ver­schlußteil aufgesetzten Überdeckel 12, dessen mit Noppen bestückter Boden die eigentliche Standfläche der Tischleuchte bildet. Im Zusammenwirken mit der Nase 22 wird dadurch eine Überdrehsicherung bewirkt und ein Lösen des Ver­schlußdeckels verhindert. Die Anordnung der Rippen bzw. Aussparungen ist nun so gewählt, daß in jeder Drehstellung sichergestellt ist, daß immer einer der beiden ein gleichseitiges Dreieck bildenden Sätze von drei Rippen, z.B. 21a, 21c, 21e in der Nut 27 von beiden Seitenwänden 28, 29 geführt wird. Darüber hinaus können auch weitere Rippen, z.B. 21f, diese Bedingung erfüllen. Je mehr Rippen gleichzeitig geführt werden, desto besser sind die Gleiteigenschaften beim Drehen des Standfußes.
