Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a razor or thinning knife consisting of an elongated handle part, at the front end of which a razor blade is arranged and which on the side opposite the cutting edge of the razor blade in the rear region has a protruding handle at a distance from the rear end.

Razors or thinning knives are known and are used in particular by hairdressers and barbers. The known razors each consist of an elongated handle part, at the front end of which a razor blade is arranged, which can be replaced by a new one after use. A U-shaped cover rail is pivotally mounted in the rear area of the handle part at a distance from the rear end. When the razor is folded, the cutting edge of the razor blade comes to lie within this cover rail. The covering is to be used then folded 180 ^° by more than upwards so that it forms a projecting handle extension, with respect to the both sides of the grip portion keeps the operator with their fingers razor.

In this known razor or thinning knife, the cover rail is technically complex and thus the razor is expensive overall. In addition, the protruding handle in the form of the cover rail cannot be optimally designed ergonomically since the razor has to be folded up again. Finally, the angular position of the cover rail can change slightly in the opened state, which proves to be particularly annoying during the shaving process.

On this basis, the invention has for its object to improve the grip approach to the well-known razor or Effiliermesser and to create particular a razor or Effiliermesser with good ergonomic features.

As a technical solution , the invention proposes that the handle attachment be designed as a short stub attachment and that it be fixed with respect to the handle part.

A razor or thinning knife designed according to this technical teaching is characterized by its good ergonomic properties. The short stub attachment fixedly arranged on the handle part can be designed in such a way that the user can hold the handle part of the razor or thinning knife in an ergonomically favorable manner. "Short" is essentially to be understood as an order of magnitude in the length of the stub attachment which corresponds to the thickness of the fingers, so that they can rest comfortably on the side of this stub attachment. For example, the length of the stub end can be two to three times the thickness of the fingers. Since the short stub is fixed to the handle part, its angular position with respect to the handle part cannot change, so that the user can hold the razor securely.

The stub lug is preferably formed in one piece with the handle part, in particular a molded plastic part. This is a technically easy to manufacture razor.

In a further development of the stub neck, this has an opening. In addition to saving material, this opening can also serve as a hanger for the razor.

In order to improve the ergonomic grip properties of the razor, it is proposed in a further development that the elongated grip part preferably has a depression extending in the longitudinal direction of the grip part on both sides of the stub attachment. The user's fingers then come to rest in these depressions without being able to slip. Depending on the design of the troughs, there can be a corresponding number of fingers.

In order to increase the overall stability of the razor and in particular the handle part, the handle part has a double T profile in a further development. Such a cross-sectional profile in the form of a lying "H" has proven to be very favorable for high stability.

Basically, it is possible to provide a so-called razor blade unit for the razor blade, in which the razor blade is embedded in a non-detachable manner in a plastic body, the razor blade unit being connected as a separate part to the front end of the handle part and, if necessary, being replaced by a new one after the razor blade has worn out can, with the handle part being reused. The razor blade units can be arranged in a dispenser, from which they can be removed by means of the handle part. Instead, it is possible in a further development of the razor that this is a one-piece plastic molded part, in which the razor blade is embedded in the handle part in a non-detachable manner. The razor designed in this way is then a so-called disposable razor, which is thrown away when the razor blade is used up. Since the razor does not have a pivotably articulated cover rail on the handle part, as is the case, but rather only a short stub attachment which is integrally formed, this is economically justifiable and without great costs for the user. In particular, this one-way use satisfies regulations according to which hairdressers and barbers have a new law for each customer must use the sier blade to meet the hygienic requirements.

In a further development of the razor or thinning knife, a cover cap for the front end of the handle part for covering the cutting edge of the razor blade is proposed. Such a cover cap has the advantage that people cannot injure it while the razor is not in use.

In a first embodiment, the cover cap is preferably a U-shaped clamping part, which is either pushed onto the handle part from the front in the longitudinal direction or also pushed perpendicular to the cutting edge of the razor blade. Due to the pretensioning of the U-shaped cover cap, it comes into contact with its mutually opposing inner walls on the sides of the handle part, so that in this way the cover cap is fixed with respect to the handle part.

In a second embodiment of the cover cap, it is proposed that it be a sack-shaped plastic film that can be pushed onto the front end of the handle part in the longitudinal direction. This proves to be particularly cost-effective, particularly in the case of the disposable razors, since after a single use of the razor it is thrown away anyway.

The razor or thinning knife consists of an elongated handle part 1 with a double-T-shaped cross-sectional profile, as can be seen in the sectional view according to FIG. 3. The handle part 1 is a molded plastic part, in which a razor blade 2 is embedded in a non-detachable manner at the front end of the handle part 1, so that the razor blade 2 is completely covered laterally by the plastic material except for its cutting edge 3. As can be seen in the sectional views according to FIGS. 4 to 7, the handle part 1 consists of two individual plastic molded parts 1 ', 1˝, which are interconnected with the razor blade 2 interposed, the two plastic molded parts 1 being used for this purpose in the illustrated embodiment ', 1˝ are provided with pins and corresponding recesses. Instead of two individual plastic molded parts 1 ', 1˝, a one-piece plastic molded part can also be provided, in which the razor blade 2 is embedded during the injection molding process.

When the razor is not in use, a cover cap 4 is fitted onto the front end of the handle part 1 to cover the cutting edge 3 of the razor blade 2, which in the exemplary embodiment shown is a snap-in clamping part 1 with a V-shaped cross-sectional profile, as in FIG. 2 and in FIG. 6 and 7 can be seen. Instead, a sack-shaped plastic film can also be provided as the cover cap 4, which can be plugged on in the longitudinal direction of the handle part and envelops this front end of the handle part 1.

In the rear area of the handle part 1, a short stub lug 5 is formed, on the side of the handle part 1 opposite the cutting edge 3 of the razor blade 2. This stub lug 5, which is formed integrally with the handle part 1, encloses a very specific angle with the handle part 1 .

As can also be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2, the stub neck 5 has an opening 6 which serves on the one hand to save material and on the other hand to hang the razor. Furthermore, it can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2 that on both sides of the stub lug 5 the grip part 1 has a longitudinal trough 7 for receiving the fingers of the user.

The razor or thinning knife is characterized by its good ergonomic properties and can also be used as a so-called disposable razor or thinning knife.
