Description

The invention relates to a scaffolding panel with longitudinal spars made of closed light metal hollow profiles with a support for a plate forming a walkway and work surface and with the longitudinal spars connected by welding cross-connections and with claws provided in the region of the ends for hanging in the supporting structure of the scaffold.

In DE-OS 35 39 507 a scaffolding panel has been assumed which was welded together from aluminum profiles. The construction according to DE-OS 35 39 507 deals, inter alia, with profiles for scaffold panels made of light metal extruded semi-finished products which have a support leg for the board, the cover leg being the same length as the support leg. This is disadvantageous for assembly and is often not necessary. The receiving space for the plate requires a shoulder on the inside. In addition, this known construction provides riveted cross bars with small claws attached to them for hanging in corresponding U-profiles of scaffolding.

There are many scaffolds, especially tower and mobile scaffolds, in which snap-on claws with larger downwardly open recesses and automatically from under-reaching safety fingers are common on elongated elements. These are mainly needed for the quick assembly of small scaffolding. There are constructions in which the diagonal bars have to engage in the same crossbars and on the other hand have to run through the panels as far as possible to the end. Solutions have to be found in which the end regions of the scaffolding panels are free at least over part of their length and width, so that claws can reach through from below to connect diagonal bars. Furthermore, access openings above the ladders or stairs may be required. In this case, the ladders are appropriately hung in the crossbars, in which the scaffold panels, which are also referred to as mobile scaffold floors, are hung. It is then expedient if, in the area of the end of the scaffolding panel, where the access opening is, no cross connections are provided, but only the longitudinal spars are made. Previous scaffolding panels offered only a few design options here.

The invention has for its object to provide an improved scaffolding panel of the type mentioned, in which the end regions and the support or snap-in claws are designed so that there are further suspension options and possible access options between the snap-in claws of the scaffolding panels.

It is provided according to the invention that straight extensions of sheet metal, preferably sheet steel, snap-in claws are inserted into the longitudinal bars having straight inner walls and connected to at least one longitudinal bar wall by riveting, the snap-in claws having semi-cylindrical depressions which are open at the bottom and correspond to the tube diameter of floor bars Merging the end area into a rounded end and retaining lug and wherein within the box-like latching claws, spring springs that can be pivoted against springs are provided, which encompass the tube part of the floor support bar lying under the support area and the cross connections designed as tubes lie at a distance from the ends of the longitudinal bars, which are at least the length of the extensions of the latching claws, and wherein in the plane of the upper longitudinal spar walls there is a short support and protective leg which slightly overlaps the edge of the plate is under which the plate support leg projects at a distance corresponding to the thickness of the plate, on which the plate is fastened with rivets.

The snap-in claws made of sheet steel, which are known per se for other scaffolding elements, in particular for diagonal bars, are used here, but projections are provided, with the aid of which they are fastened in the longitudinal bars, which are smoothly rectangular on the inside. The upper straps of the longitudinal spars form the uppermost part of the scaffold panel and the in the area of the longitudinal edges inserted plate lies between the longitudinal spars. The only short support and protective leg enables easy assembly with little effort, but offers sufficient edge protection and also ensures additional clamping for the panel, which is preferably made of waterproof plywood with the veneer fiber running transversely to the longitudinal direction of the scaffolding panel.

As a result of the measure to provide the cross connection at a distance from the end of the plate, there is easily a possibility of inserting the extensions of the latching claws, because no cross connections can be provided, which are to be inserted into the ends of the longitudinal spars. So you go back to the not so cheap way of welding, which is, however, due to the distance and allows the insertion for fastening the claws. It is advantageous to weld in the transverse connection of one side at a distance from the end of the longitudinal spars that corresponds to the size of a manhole. The result is a simply constructed, safe to handle, stable element for the interaction of the scaffolding panel and the ladder to be hung in between, the access opening being provided with a corresponding flap. Further details, features, configurations and advantages of the invention also result from the following part of the description dealt with on the basis of the drawings and, if appropriate, further claims.

An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to the drawings.

The scaffolding panel 10 has two longitudinal spars 11.1 and 11.2, which are made from a light metal extruded profile semifinished product, the cross section of which is illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5. Snap claws 12 are attached to their ends, all of which are identical to one another. The plate 14, which forms the aisle and working surface, lies on the plate support legs 13 of the longitudinal spars 11 and is fastened to the plate support legs 13 by means of rivets 15 arranged at a distance.

The two longitudinal spars 11.1 and 11.2 are connected by cross connections 16.1 and 16.2. As shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, these are designed as approximately square tubes. Their ends 16.3 are butted in front of the side walls 17 of the longitudinal spars 11 and welded to them by means of the weld seams 18. The upper bearing surface 19 is at the same height as the bearing surface 20 of the plate support leg 13, so that the plate 14 is also supported by the cross connections 16. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the plate 14 is also fastened to the cross connections with rivets 15.

The cross connection 16.1 is at a distance 21 from the end 22.1 of the longitudinal spars. The other cross connection 16.2 is at a distance 23 from the right end 22.2 of the longitudinal spars 11 in FIG. 1. The distance 21 is a few centimeters, for example about 5 cm. It is covered by the end 14.1 of the plate 14. However, there is enough space to put claws through. The distance 23 is several decimeters and is as large as the access opening. In its area, no cross connection is provided between the longitudinal spars 11. A hatch 25 is pivotally attached to the longitudinal beam 11.2 by hinges 26 and rests with its free end 25.1 on the plate support leg 13 of the longitudinal beam 11.1. This results in a manhole that is free to the end, in which you can hang a ladder. The two cross connections result in good stability. Since they are not too far apart, there are no excessive stresses during welding.

Die untere Wand 33 hat eine Stufe 34.The longitudinal spars 11 are, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5, made of an upright rectangular extruded profile made of light metal and cut to length. The upper wall 27 is provided on the outside with anti-slip corrugation 28. Beyond the inner wall 17 just carried out, a short support and protective leg 29 is provided at the level of the upper wall 27. At a distance 31 below it is the plate support leg 13 which is sufficiently wide for riveting and which is attached to the inner wall 17 at right angles. The outer wall 32 is smooth on the inside and outside. The inner wall 17 is completely smooth inside. The four walls are rounded in the corners. The lower wall 33 has a step 34.

The latching claws 12 are formed by box-like sheet steel housings 35 of known configuration and have a semi-cylindrical recess 36 which is open at the bottom and with which they are placed on the crossbars of the frame. In the front end region 37, a rounded end and holding nose 38 is provided. Inside, a bearing 39 is provided for a securing finger 40, which can be pivoted up in a known manner against the force of the spring 41 and which, according to the position shown in FIG. 3, by its design and the position of its articulation point for automatic securing and tightening leads when taking off. Such snap claws are used in large numbers on various scaffolding elements. Here they have extensions 43 according to the invention, which are formed by four mutually perpendicular fastening legs 44.1. These lie appropriately on the walls 17, 27, 32 and 33 of the longitudinal spars 11.1 and 11.2. At least on the outer wall 32, the fastening legs 44.1 are fastened by at least two rivets 46. Of the Recesses 36 at the end 22.1 of the plate 14 have sufficient space to allow further holding claws to reach through and thus to connect diagonal bars. Similarly, the end 25.1 of the access hatch 25 is sufficiently spaced from a corresponding crossbar to allow the snap-in claws of the ladder to pass through.

In this way, a scaffold panel is made up of simple, easy-to-manufacture parts that can be safely used in long-term use, in particular as a scaffold floor.

Die nachfolgend abgedruckte Zusammenfassung ist Bestandteil der Offenbarung der Erfindung :The summary printed below is part of the disclosure of the invention:

The scaffolding panel has longitudinal spars 11 with a smooth box profile. The extensions (43) of snap-in claws (12) made of sheet steel are inserted into this and secured therein with rivets (46). Cross connections (16.1. 16.2) at a distance from the ends are welded in and offer sufficient space for hanging diagonal bars and / or for forming a manhole and for hanging a ladder.
