Claims (1)

1. A pneumatic or hydraulic drive for opening and closing doors, in which the linear movement of a double-acting piston (5) driven by a pressure medium is converted to a rotary movement of a spindle (2) via a piston rod (6) and a screw gear (7, 8), a locking lever (10) being provided, which is mounted at a fixed point, is connected to a manually actuatable Bowden cable (17), and, in its locking position, secures the closed position of the door and is held in its open position against the force of a spring (15) by means of a working cylinder (14) subjected to the action of pressure medium independently of the drive cylinder and, in the event of a pressure drop in the drive cylinder, returns to its locking position, characterised in that the locking lever (10) acts, under the action of another spring (18), in the closed position of the door, on a part (11) which is directly connected to the piston rod (6) and which is led out from the drive cylinder (4) and the movement of which is derived from the axial movement of the piston (5) and secures the piston in its closed end position.
