Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collar for centering stacked chimney pipes of multi-layer prefabricated chimneys with the features according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • a centering collar with the features described at the outset is already known (FR-A 15 68 396), which is used when setting thin-walled ceramic chimney pipes.
  • This centering sleeve consists of a cross-section e.g. square sheet metal jacket, the upper and lower edges of which are bent inwards to such an extent that they obliquely towards the longitudinal center of the sheet metal jacket, i.e. point towards the support tongues.
  • the support tongues are riveted or welded to the sheet metal jacket and jump inwards, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the sheet metal jacket, to the extent that the centering sleeve can thus be supported on the upper end edge of the chimney pipe that has already been placed.
  • the inwardly bent edges of the sleeve are to be supported on the outside of the chimney pipes due to their elastic flexibility and thereby to center them.
  • a putty sleeve is also already known, which is also used when setting thin-walled ceramic chimney pipes and has punched-out and inwardly bent supporting tongues from which it can be supported on the upper front edge of an already placed chimney pipe (DE-A 3317661) .
  • This known cement sleeve consists of two sections of different diameters, the inside diameter of the thinner section corresponding to the outside diameter of the ceramic chimney pipes.
  • the purpose of this putty sleeve is to distribute the putty applied to the upper edge of the chimney pipe already in place when the next pipe section is placed in such a way that the entire joint is bridged on both sides.
  • this known cement sleeve it is not possible to ensure precise centering and adjustment of the chimney pipes one above the other, because their upper section is significantly larger than the diameter or the transverse dimensions of the chimney pipes.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a centering collar which, even with low precision of its dimensions in relation to the chimney pipe dimensions, allows the pipe sections to be stacked to be properly centered and to establish a perfect connection between them.
  • the spring slats extending in the axial direction of the sleeve protrude from the inner wall to such an extent that they delimit a cross-sectional area whose transverse dimensions (e.g. their diameter) are smaller than the outer transverse dimensions of the chimney pipes. Since they have "grown" at a point on the inner wall that is closer to the free end of the sleeve at a distance from the support tongues, and extend from this connection point towards the support tongues, when a tube is inserted through its front edge, they become the inner wall of the Deflected cuff and due to their spring force develop a symmetrical support and guidance effect towards the axis.
  • the centering sleeve is placed on the upper edge of the tube that has already been placed, and is supported with the supporting tongues on its end face, then the next tube to be placed is forced into an exact aligned alignment with the tube that has already been placed.
  • the putty required to connect the end faces of the pipes e.g. an acid putty is placed in the form of a strand (for example from a tube) on the top of the support tongues and the sleeve is then placed on the upper end of the tube already in place.
  • the support tongues are dimensioned such that they cover only about half of the pipe wall thickness in the radial direction, so that the putty achieves a large-area connection of the pipe ends.
  • the support tongues are thereby completely enclosed by the cement on their inner end edge, so that corrosion by pollutants contained in the fuel gas is avoided.
  • the spring lamellae can only be arranged in the section of the centering sleeve into which - in the already attached state of the centering sleeve - the next pipe is inserted from above.
  • the transverse dimensions of the section of the centering collar opposite the supporting tongues would have to be more closely and largely matched to the outer transverse dimensions of the chimney pipes in order to be able to be centered thereon.
  • the support tongues and the spring lamellae are formed by punched out and inwardly bent parts of the sheet metal jacket.
  • the support tongues are bent 90 ° to the axis of the centering sleeve, i.e. they extend vertically inwards away from the inner wall, while the spring blades are only slightly bent inwards.
  • a number of three support tongues is sufficient for the centering collar to rest properly on the upper edge of the pipe already in place;
  • the spring lamellae should be evenly distributed over the inner circumference of the centering collar in order to achieve the most exact centering effect possible.
  • the spring slats are expediently arranged so that they protrude the furthest in the vicinity of the plane in which the supporting tongues lie. It is possible to form the spring slats on both sides of the support tongues separately, as seen in the axial direction, so that there are free ends of the spring slats in the region of the support tongues.
  • the spring lamellae can also be formed in one piece, so that they have "grown" with both ends on the inner wall of the centering collar and bulge the furthest inward in the area of the support tongues. It goes without saying that the curvature of the spring lamellae towards the inside is largely the same for the purpose of a centering effect directed towards the axis of the tubes.
  • the centering collar according to the invention essentially consists of a cylindrical sheet metal jacket 1, from which rectangular support tongues 2 and also rectangular spring blades 3 are punched out on three edges and bent inwards around the remaining fourth edge.
  • the support tongues 2, as can be seen from FIG. 2, are bent inwards by 90 °; the spring lamellae 3 are only slightly bent and curved out of the peripheral surface of the sheet metal jacket 1, so that they extend in the longitudinal direction of the support sleeve in the manner shown in FIG. 1.
  • the spring plates 3 show two different embodiments for the spring plates 3: on the right side, above and below the plane in which the supporting tongues 2 are located, separate spring plates 3 are punched out in such a way that their free edges are above and below the plane mentioned lie (see also Fig. 3).
  • the spring blades 3 On the left side, however, the spring blades 3 'are still connected at their two ends to the sheet metal jacket 1 at points which are on both sides of the support tongues 2, and are pressed in or deep-drawn to form a uniform curvature.
  • the entire length of the sheet metal jacket 1 has a diameter which is a few millimeters larger than the outside diameter of the chimney pipes 4 which are to be placed on the end face. In the untensioned state of the spring lamellae 3, 3 ', however, they protrude inwards to such an extent that the distance from diametrically opposite spring lamellae from one another is smaller than the outside diameter of the chimney pipes 4.
  • FIG. 1 shows the state in which the centering collar according to the invention is attached to the upper end of a chimney pipe 4 which has already been placed.
  • the sheet metal jacket 1 is held centrally by the lower spring plates 3 or the lower part of the spring plates 3 'to the tube axis.
  • the support tongues 2 are supported on the upper end edge of the lower tube 4 and overlap it, as can be seen in FIG. 2, about half the wall thickness of the tube.
  • a closed ring or strand 5 of acid putty is located above the support tongues 2.
  • the upper tube 4 has already been pushed into the centering sleeve to such an extent that the upper spring plates 3 or the upper part of the spring plates 3 'unfold their alignment function and align the tube coaxially with the lower tube already set.
  • a total of twelve support tongues 2 are formed on the inner circumference of the sheet metal jacket 1 (for reasons of simplicity, only four of them are shown in Fig. 2).
  • the spring blades 3, 3 ' especially if their number is small, should be even on the inside circumference of the sheet metal jacket 1 may be arranged distributed and project inward by substantially the same amount.
  • the centering sleeve shown in the exemplary embodiment has a sheet metal jacket 1 of constant diameter, its manufacture is relatively simple.
  • the support tongues 2 and the spring lamellae 3 and 3 ' can be punched out of an initially flat sheet metal sheet and bent out to one side.
  • the sheet metal sheet can then be shaped to the desired shape, e.g. bent to the cylindrical sheet metal jacket 1 and closed by a longitudinal welding.
  • a quadrangular shape can be used if square chimney pipes are used accordingly.
  • the support tongues 2 lie in a common plane, alternately punched out of the sheet metal jacket 1 from opposite sides of this plane and then bent into this plane.
  • the weakening of the sheet metal jacket 1 caused by the punching out is somewhat distributed.
