Abstract
Description
- L'un des problèmes les plus fréquents en matière de bijouterie est celui de procurer des fermoirs élégants, pratiques et solides, notamment pour des bracelets. Les qualités requises sont difficilement conciliables.
- L'un des matériaux les plus couramment utilisés dans la confection des bracelets, parce que l'un des plus élégants, est le cuir. Le moyen le plus courant d'assurer la fermeture du bracelet en même temps que le réglage de sa longueur consiste à munir l'un des brins d'une boucle, avec ou sans ardillon, à la manière d'une ceinture. Un tel dispositif présente l'inconvénient d'exiger plusieurs mouvements pour la fermeture. En outre, le bout du brin qui dépasse de la boucle doit en général être fixé par une bride, et l'aspect de ce bout qui dépasse est peu esthétique. L'avantage de ce dispositif est de permettre un réglage de longueur assez aisé, quoiqu'il doive être fait chaque fois que le bracelet est mis.
- Afin de faciliter la fermeture et d'éviter la présence d'un bout de brin qui dépasse, on a proposé, par exemple, des fermoirs formés de deux bras, une extrémité de chaque bras étant fixée de manière pivotante à une extrémité d'un brin, chaque bras étant articulé à l'autre extrémité à un bout d'un troisième bras. Le troisième bras ayant une longueur double de celle des deux autres bras, ceux-ci se rabattent, en pivotant sur les gonds, sur le troisième bras contre lequel ils s'appliquent et se fixent; les extrémités des deux brins se rejoignent ainsi au milieu du troisième bras; les brins dissimulent les trois bras, qui sont repliés. L'inconvénient d'un tel dispositif réside dans le fait que la longueur des brins est réglée définitivement et qu'il n'est possible de raccourcir le bracelet qu'en coupant les brins, et de le rallonger qu'en les remplaçant.
- La présente invention vise à fournir un fermoir qui permette le réglage de la longueur de manière simple et sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'y procéder chaque fois que le porteur met le bracelet; l'invention vise en outre à éviter que soit visible le bout de brin qui dépasse, comme c'est le cas dans les fermoirs à boucle habituels.
- Les dessins représentent, à titre d'exempte, une forme d'exécution de l'invention.
- La figure est une vue en perspective cavalière d'un fermoir selon l'invention, en position ouverte, dans laquelle un seul brin du bracelet est partiellement représenté.
- La figure 2 est une coupe longitudinale d'un même fermoir, en position fermée, dans laquelle les deux brins du bracelet sont partiellement représentés.
- Le fermoir est représenté dans la forme d'exécution des revendications 2 à 4.
- Le fermoir comprend une boucle l, et deux bras 2 et 3. Les deux bras sont reliés entre eux par un gond 4. La boucle est fixée de manière à pouvoir pivoter sur une traverse 9 qui est solidaire du premier bras 2. Le second bras 3 présente en son centre une échancrure longitudinale 8, dont la forme correspond à celle du premier bras 2. En position fermée, le premier bras 2 vient se loger entièrement dans cette échancrure, de façon que l'épaisseur des deux bras fermés soit minimale.
- Un premier brin est fixé dans la boucle; son bout 5 dépasse de la boucle, en direction du second brin. A son extrémité, le second bras 3 présente une ouverture 6. Le bout 5 du premier brin attaché à la boucle est introduit dans l'ouverture 6. En position fermée, la boucle recouvre l'ouverture 6 et vient se placer contre la fixation du second brin.
- De la sorte, le bout 5 est entièrement dissimulé.
- Le fermoir est aisé à manier : le bracelet peut être fermé d'un seul mouvement.
- La longueur peut être réglée aisément, et il n'est pas nécessaire de procéder à ce réglage chaque fois que le bracelet est mis au poignet.
- Dans la forme d'exécution représentée ici, la boucle n'a pas d'ardillon. Cela donne au bracelet fermé une plus grande pureté de ligne. Rien n'empêche toutefois d'utiliser un ardillon.
- D'autre part, le second brin est fixé par une barrette, qu'il entoure, de sorte qu'il est en contact avec la boucle en position fermée. Il serait cependant possible d'utiliser d'autres moyens de fixation, dans lesquels par exemple le brin serait emprisonné et n'entrerait par conséquent pas en contact avec la boucle.
- Enfin, dans la forme d'exécution représentée ici, le fermoir a deux bras. Il serait toutefois possible d'employer, par exemple, trois bras.
