Abstract

The electrolytic cell for aluminum electrolysis is characterized in that the anode contains components including Fe, Cu, Ni and Sn, where Fe and Cu serve as primary components; and the electrolyte consists of 30-38 wt.% NaF, 49-60 wt.% AlF, 1-5 wt.% LiF, 1-6 wt.% KF and 3-6 wt.% AlO, where the molar ratio of NaF to AlF is 1.0-1.52. The electrolytic cell can be used to produce industrial electrolytic aluminium.
