Настоящее изобретение относится к способу извлечения высокочистого диоксида углерода из газообразного источника и его использованию. Более конкретно, настоящее изобретение относится к производству высокочистого диоксида углерода, который, по существу, не содержит азота, кислорода, оксидов азота, сернистых соединений и летучих органических загрязняющих примесей, в частности бензола. Настоящее изобретение относится к способу удаления бензола из подаваемого газообразного диоксида углерода, а также к использованию указанного высокочистого диоксида углерода в пищевых продуктах.
