Abstract

The panoramic roof of a double-decker omnibus has a sliding roof extending over at least part of its length. It has parallel running rails, with their lower ends supported on extended vertical members of the tubular railing. Rolling trolleys are at the upper end, with a firmly controlled path, linked in pairs by linkage strips. They carry a roof cover through spaced hoops in a curvature matching the angle of the bus roof.
