Description
The main patent 960 784 deals with a partially jacketed bullet for large game with a lead core, the has a potash-sized cylindrical guide portion separated from the one-piece Coat is enclosed. The cylindrical guide part goes forward into a non-leading one Bullet head over. After the invention of the main patent, it is primarily a matter of that the jacket of the projectile extends to the front end of the cylindrical part of the head. as is advantageous transition shape between the leading and the non-leading cylindrical part in the main patent, the cone shape is protected. Such a projectile is particularly suitable for long-range shots, because the conical shoulder means that the projectile energy is advantageously used is achieved. More is needed for shots at short range, in so-called driven hunts seen on a larger impact surface on the carcass than on a saving in projectile energy. In order to achieve this effect with a projectile according to the main patent, according to the Invention of the transition from the leading to the non-leading cylindrical part of the Ge-lap form a concave or convex shoulder. Transitions with concave or convex shoulders are known in copper jacketed bullets, in which a guide part of larger diameter a guide part of smaller Diameter is connected upstream. The claim only protects the overall combination of features contained in it. The features have no independent inventive significance in and of themselves.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is in Fig. 1 with a concave shoulder and in Fig. 2 with a convex shoulder as a transition shape.
The main part 1 of the projectile represents the guide caliber represents, while 2 represents the upstream non-leading projectile part. Of the The transition of the two differently calibrated projectile parts into each other is in the execution according to Fig. Ι concave, designed convex in Fig. 2, whereby shoulders 3 and 4 with more or less large radius are formed. 5 is the floor of the floor and 6 is the tip of the floor.
