Description
Bei luftdicht verschlossenen Behältern, in denen unter Umständen eine Drucksteigerung auftreten kann, ist es .erforderlich, eine Drucksicherung anzubringen, die bei einem bestimmten Überdruck anspricht und dadurch verhindert, daß der Behälter platzt und Schaden in der Umgebung anrichtet. Man hat bereits vorgeschlagen, für gasdichte Akkumulatoren eine Drucksicherung mit übereinanderliegenden
Membranen anzuwenden, die bei einem bestimmten Maximaldruck zerreißen. Gegenüber
diesen bekannten Vorrichtungen wird auf Grund der vorliegenden Erfindung dadurch ein besonderer
technischer Fortschritt erzielt, daß von den zwei übereinander angeordneten Membranen die
der Druckseite zugekehrte aus weichem und dichtem Gummi und die außenliegende dünnere aus härterem Kunststoff besteht und daß über der äußeren
Membran eine dritte Schicht aus einer locker gelagerten, schalldämpfenden Substanz angeordnet ist.
Es ist vorteilhaft, eine der beiden Membranen in an sich bekannter Weise mit 'einer kleinen Bohrung
bzw. .einem Messerschnitt zu versehen. Man kann auch die schalldämpfende Substanz mit einem
Farbstoff imprägnieren, dessen Farbe sich ändert, sobald er mit den beim Zerreißen der Membran

Die Sicherung arbeitet in der Weise, daß sich bei Druckanstieg im Innern des Behälters sowohl die weiche, untere Membran, die z. B. aus Weichgummi sein kann und gleichzeitig die Abdichtung der Sicherung gewährleistet, als auch die darüberliegende dünne Membran aus härterem Kunststoff, nach oben durchwölbt, wobei ein ballonartiges Auftreiben der Weichguimmimembran durch die darüberliegende dünne Membran zunächst verhindert wird.
