Sales display/ especially heavy goods display

The innovation relates to a sales display, in particular a heavy goods display, made of cardboard for holding and presenting goods, which is designed for shipping as a folding element from interconnected, grooved wall sections in a U-shape and, after unfolding, the side walls connected by a rear wall can be used to hold goods via shelves assigned to holders.

With such sales displays, the problem is to provide for easy assembly of the shelves to be used for product presentation, to achieve a high load-bearing capacity and also to enable easy disassembly for recycling. This is also why

Important because assembly and dismantling is carried out by assistants and when loading heavy goods, only proper assembly ensures the required stability.

It is known that the edges to be inserted are connected to the side walls using tabs. However, the assembly causes considerable problems due to the relatively small insertion slots, so that they are not always properly installed.

The aim of the innovation is to improve generic arrangements and to ensure a high load-bearing capacity with safe accommodation and support of the shelves in the side walls, including easy assembly and also to enable easy disassembly.

This problem is solved according to the innovation in that the side walls serving as supports have a multi-layer structure and are surrounded by at least one decorative outer wall and the side walls have pockets in their wall plane which are connected to transversely outward-facing slots for insertable corresponding retaining angles of the shelves, whereby pivotable tabs formed above the slot by material of the side walls on the one hand in the pivoted-out position can release an assembly area above the pockets and on the other hand in the applied position a fixation of an inserted shelf can be carried out.

This design allows multi-layered, load-bearing side walls to be used and the tabs free up the assembly areas for the insertion of the edges,

while the inserted edges are fixed by the tabs.

To improve the mounting and force transmission, it is proposed that the board has protruding guide parts on its mounting sides that correspond to the slot in the side wall and that accommodate the retaining bracket.

In order to create a simple, recyclable material for the entire cardboard display, it is intended that the bracket is made of solid cardboard.

In order to pull the side walls towards the shelves and to ensure that the stand is highly stable, the leg of the bracket that can be inserted into the pocket of the side wall is angled inwards by approximately 10 to 15 degrees from the vertical.

To increase stability, it is suggested that the rear wall has openings for inserting corresponding tabs of the shelves.

In order to make it easier to pull the tabs out of the pivoted-in position, the tabs are provided with a handling opening on the side facing the slot.

The drawing shows schematic examples of the innovation. It shows:

The stand shown consists of two side walls 1 which are connected by a rear wall 2 and form a U-shape. The side walls 1 are made of multiple layers of corrugated cardboard and are covered by a decorative outer wall.

In this case, this stand made of side walls 1 and rear wall 2 is inserted into a base 4 via tabs 3 and corresponding slots 5. However, versions without a base 4 are also possible. Arrangements for so-called crowners are also not shown.

The side walls 1 are provided with corresponding pockets 6 for inserting shelves 10, which run in the wall plane and are guided outwards via slots 7. Above the slots 7, tabs 8 are formed, which can be folded outwards via handling openings 9.

The shelves 10 have projecting guide parts 11 associated with the slots 7 in the side wall 1, which carry corresponding brackets 12 as solid cardboard brackets. One leg 13 of the bracket 12 can be inserted into the pocket 6 of the side wall 1 when the tab 8 is swung out. The leg 13 is approximately

10-15 degrees, so that an enclosed angle of about 85-90 degrees is created with the edge 10. After the edge 10 has been inserted on both sides, the tab 8 is swung back and thus fixes the edge 10 in the inserted position.

In this case, the upper board 10 has an additional tab 14 in the higher area, which can be inserted into an associated opening 15 in the rear wall 2.

To destroy the stand, the shelves 10 are removed from the side walls 1. In doing so, the tabs 8 are swung out again so that a space is created above the pockets 6 that are formed, which enables easy disassembly.

Sales display according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the rear wall (2) has openings (15) for insertable corresponding tabs (14) of the shelves (10). 6.
