Description
Process for the production of sound-absorbing materials based on polyurethane It is known that moss-like for sound absorption for frequency ranges above 100 Hz or fine-pored foams can be used, such as. B. foams Urea resin-formaldehyde resin-based, phenolic resin-formaldehyde resin-based, foams in rigid or elastic design based on rubber or synthetic rubber. It is also known to use rock wool for sound absorption. The degree of sound absorption is essentially influenced by the porosity of the sound absorbing materials. Plastic foams with cell structure, d. H. with closed pores, are for the intended purpose not suitable.
It has now been found according to the invention that foams based on polyurethane Corresponding pore size in a rigid or elastic consistency, excellent sound absorption properties own. According to the invention, the degree of sound absorption is determined during manufacture Influencing the pore size controlled. While with the elastic foams On the basis of polyurethane by a wringing process, the pores are opened so that a sponge structure is created, the pores of rigid foams open a superheated steam treatment at i 4o 'or by blowing through the plates used opened with compressed air. The latter method has the advantage that it is expedient materials cut from blocks, e.g. B. Plates, in their final dimensions no longer change, while with the superheated steam process a straightening of the under Heat deforming plates is required. The sound absorption effect for foams on polyurethane Basis can be controlled to such an extent that the low frequencies from 50 Hz up to goo / o are swallowed.
It is advisable to use polyurethane foams that contain suitable fire retardants, preferably based on trichloroethyl phosphate bziv. phosphite or amman phosphate included, so that the fire protection measures required in construction are met can.
It is also possible to use the polyurethane foam acoustic materials to make them termite-proof by adding suitable protective agents.
The polyurethane foam acoustic panels can be fixed with adhesives, preferably on a polyurethane basis, on wood, metal, plastic, bricks or Glue concrete perfectly. The rigid foam sheets based on polyurethane for Sound-absorbing purposes can also be given any shape by post-heat treatment , are brought, so that a simple assembly can be done on site. The polyurethane materials according to the invention prove themselves preferably for the construction industry, the vehicle and Tool shed The acoustic panels can be colored as desired.
The deadening of sheet metal can be done with lightweight materials, preferably on Polyurethane base ". The polyurethane material offers through its Pore structure the possibility that in addition to the anti-drumming effect, which is essentially an increase in the static stability of the thin sheets is, at the same time, a Sound absorption is achieved.
