Packaging container with a slanted closure

The innovation relates to packaging containers for reuse to save waste.

The legislator has already taken measures to counteract the flood of waste caused by packaging by requiring producers to take it back. The large amount of recyclable material is causing problems due to the oversupply, particularly for cardboard boxes made of lower quality paper. The invention shows a solution to counteract the problem by reusing the packaging container as a useful storage container. The slanted boxes with good access and a writing field are suitable for storing magazines, selected articles, old files, sorting and storing collected newspaper clippings, reports, etc. The large amount of magazines can be made accessible for a longer period of time in this way and then disposed of together in larger quantities at the appropriate time.

The innovation will benefit the producer by saving on take-back, and the buyer through useful reuse and control of the disposal of recyclable material.

The solution is shown in the perspective drawing:

The container, as previously used, is shown with its flat lid in dashed lines. It contains a retaining tab that ends under the lid. The new container shape, which is created by the slanted section, provides a clear field of vision, good access for filing, viewing and access. The most commonly used formats of A4 and standard sizes of specialist magazines can be stored conveniently in the usual container size.

The outer container, which was previously reinforced with a slide-in container, could be designed more cheaply using a single-layer cardboard box of the appropriate thickness with the manufacturer's information printed directly on it. The manufacturer's information should be supplemented in an attractive place with the advantages of reuse; at the same time, the instructions for design and use should be explained. The drawing also shows how the carrying strap can be retained by extending it to the new storage container being created.
