Description

Die erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Filterpresse, bestehend aus einer Anzahl Filterkammern mit Enddeckeln und einer diese teile zusammenpressenden Vorrichtung. In den Enddeckeln der Filterpresse hat man bischer die Zu- und Ablaufleitungen in Form von Aussparungen und Kanälen vorgesehen und diese gegebenenfalls mit einer Auskleidung versehen. Diese Anordnung hat den Nachteil, daß bei poröser Beschaffenheit des meistens aus Guß bestehenden Enddeckels Übertritte von der Trubseite zur Klarseite stattfinden können. Bei der Benutzung der Filterpresse als Entkeimungsfilter kann dies zu Infektionen des Filtrates führen, so daß eine solche Filterpresse für entkeimende Filtration nicht geeignet ist. Außerdem konnte bei dien bisherigen Ausführungen der Enddeckel immer nur als Glanz-oder als Trubdeckel verwendet werden, und les war nicht ohne weiteres möglich, ihn für beide Zwecke zu verwenden.
