Fleece as an intermediate layer between a floor and a floor insert

The invention relates to a fleece as an intermediate layer between a floor and a floor covering, wherein the fleece has a coating of a permanently elastic, solvent-free adhesive on at least one side.

Such a fleece is also referred to as a recovery fleece or laying fleece and is usually a so-called needle felt. It enables a carpet or other floor covering to be laid on a screed or on a carpet in such a way that the newly laid carpet or floor covering can later be removed without difficulty. To do this, the fleece is placed with its side already coated with adhesive on the screed or the carpet that has already been laid and attached to it. A commercially available adhesive* or a commercially available filler is then applied to the top, which is then used to attach the new carpet or floor covering. However, it is possible that the commercially available filler or the commercially available filler will come into contact with the adhesive coating of the fleece.

and/or a floor covering underneath. The aim of the invention is to prevent this.

This task is solved by equipping the fleece with an agent that is impermeable to and resistant to adhesives and/or fillers, made from an acrylic acid ester copolymer containing carboxyl groups, to form a barrier layer. To do this, the fibers of the fleece can be equipped with the agent that is resistant to adhesives and/or fillers. However, the fleece itself can also be equipped by spraying it with the agent that is resistant to adhesives and/or fillers. The fleece thus equipped acts as a barrier layer, so that a new carpet or new floor covering can be laid using commercially available adhesives and/or fillers without the risk of undesirable chemical reactions. Nevertheless, the newly laid carpet or the newly laid floor covering can be easily removed again.
