The innovation concerns a stackable transport pallet for coated or uncoated films wound on a core, consisting of a base part and side parts, means for ensuring stackability and means for fixing the film webs*

During the manufacturing process of coating and further processing films, for example in the manufacture of magnetic recording media, it is important for efficient production to have suitable pallets that hold the film webs and transport them to the relevant production locations. The pallets must meet the following requirements depending on their task:

- The uncoated film webs coming from the manufacturer should be as easy as possible to transfer to the pallet and to remove from it.

- The film strips should not protrude from the sides or the end walls or lie on top of each other in order to avoid damage.

- The pallet should accommodate film strips of different diameters, packed as tightly as possible on top of and next to each other.

- Several pallets should be stackable on top of each other.

- The pallets must meet the Eufö pallet standard.
