The task of the innovation is now, a brush holder of the above Art to be designed so that a separate compression spring and carbon brush can be used and the collector when the carbon brush is worn is still protected.

According to the innovation, the object is achieved by the features of the claims.

The innovation thus has the advantage that brush holders or so-called "Quivers" as they are also called in practice, can be provided with a separate carbon brush and a separate compression spring, and prevent the compression spring from coming into contact with the collector when the carbon brush is worn out.
