B. mit 1 lilfe von Alkalimetallen hergestellte Mischpolynierisate verNvenden. Als Weichinaclitin-stnittel für die Nlischpolynierisate kommen die niedrigpolyineren flüssigen Styrole in 11)etraclit, doch k(")iiiieti auch von F, all zu Fall z. 13. Mit besonderem Vorteil wendet man die erwähnten Mischpolymerisate in Form ihrer wäßrigen, durch Enitilsionspolymerisation erhaltenen Dispersionen an, in denen man die Weichmachungsmittel, zweckmäßig in Form ihrer wäßrigen Fmulsion, dispergiert, worauf man die zur Herstellung von Fußbodenbelagstoffen gebräuchlichen Füllstoffe, wie Holz-, Korkmehl, Kreide, einmischt. Dies kann z. B. in einem heizbaren Kneter geschehen, dessen Temperatur so gewählt wird, daß das eingebrachte Wasser verdampft, wobei eine in der Wärme plastische Masse entsteht, die in Pressen oder auf einem Ziehkalander auf Platten oder Folien der gewünschten Stärke verarbeitet wird. Das Verhältnis zwischen M ischpolymerisat und Weichmachungsmittel richtet sich nach dem gewünschten Ergebnis und dem K-Wert des Mischpolymerisates bzw. dem Verhältnis von Styrol zu Butadien im Mischpolymerisat und ist durch einen Vorversuch leicht zu ermitteln. Bei spiel i In einem heizbaren Kneter werden 8o Teile eines Gemisches aus Holz- und Korkmehl, das außerdem gernahlene Kreide und Eisenoxydrot enthält, mit einer #väßrigen Dispersion, enthaltend 17 Teile eines durch Emulsionspolymerisation hergestellten Mischpolymerisates aus etwa 7o Teilen Styrol und 3o Teilen Butadien, sowie mit 3 Teilen eines vornehmlich Tristyrol enthaltenden flüssigen Polystyrols, gegebenenfalls in einulgierter Form, gemischt. Nach beendeter Mischung wird die erhaltene Masse durch Aufheizen des Kneters entwässert, worauf sie im abgekühlten Zustand in einer Strangpresse zerkleinert wird.
