Die Erfindung l>ezieht sich auf ein Mittel zum Imprägnieren von Wänden und Böden aus Mauerwerk, Beton od. dgl. gegen Feuchtigkeit, das in dünner Schicht aufgetragen wird und die damit versehenen Flächen dann gegen Feuchtigkeitsaufnahme schützt.
Für diesen Zweck hat man bisher meist Anstriche mit Asphalt oder Teer benutzt. Diese Mittel sind jedoch nicht befriedigend, teils weil sie stark riechen und sich deshalb nicht an den Innenflächen von Räumen verwenden lassen, teils weil die Überzüge leicht Risse bekommen oder sich abschälen, so daß undichte Stellen entstehen, durch welche Feuchtigkeit eindringen kann.
Die Erfindung vermeidet diese Nachteile und verwendet ein Anstrichmittel, das erfindungsgemäß aus einem Gemisch mit 35 bis 75 % Zement, 25 bis 35 °/o Natriumcarbonat und 30 bis 15% Weinsäure besteht. Es handelt sich also um leicht zugängliche Stoffe, die vermischt und mit Wasser angerührt ao werden, bis sie eine weiche breiartige Masse bilden, die mittels eines Pinsels od. dgl. auf die zu imprägnierenden Flächen aufgetragen wird.
Die aufgetragene Masse ist geruchfrei und setzt sich an den Wand- und Bodenflächen derartig fest, daß sie weder reißt, noch sich unter Einwirkung von Erschütterungen oder durch sonstige Einflüsse ablöst. Sie hat übrigens den gleichen Ausdehnungskoeffizienten wie die Mauerflächen, wird daher nicht undicht und haftet besonders fest an.
Das Imprägnierungsmittel wird als Pulver hergestellt und erst unmittelbar vor Gebrauch mit Wasser angerührt. Die Mengenverhältnisse der verschiedenen Bestandteile können in Anpassung an
die unterschiedliche Beschaftenheit der zu schützenden Wände und an die Stärke der auftretenden Feuchtigkeit verändert werden.
Ist z.B. ein.Raum so feucht, daß man ihn als ungesund, nicht aber gerade als unbewohnbar bezeichnet, so besteht eine geeignete Mischung zum Imprägnieren der Wand und Bodenflächen z. B. aus 500 Gewichtsteilen Zement, 200 Teilen Natriumcarbonat und 35 Teilen Weinsäure.
Für Wand- und Bodenflächen, die von Feuchtigkeit triefen und einem ständigen Zutritt neuer Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt sind, wird vorzugsweise folgende Mischung gebraucht: 400 Gewichtsteile Zement, 300 Teile Natriumcarbonat, 100 Teile pulverisiertes Wasserglas, 100 Teile Magnesrumsiliciumfluorid und 100 Gewichtsteile Weinsäure. Die verschiedenen Teile werden zusammengemischt und unmittelbar vor Gebrauch mit Wasser zu einem Brei angerührt. ·

Claims (4)

  1. PATENTANSPRÜCHE:
    i. Mittel zum Imprägnieren von Wänden und Böden aus Mauerwerk, Beton od. dgl.
    gegen Feuchtigkeit, gekennzeichnet durch ein Gemisch aus 35 bis 75 °/o Zement, 25 bis 35 °/o Natriumcarbonat und 3 bis 15% Weinsäure.
  2. 2. Imprägnierungsmittel nach Anspruch τ, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einem Gemisch von 500 Gewichtsteilen Zement, 200 Gewichtsteilen Natriumcarbonat und 35 Gewichtsteilen Weinsäure bestellt.
  3. 3. Imprägnierungsmittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einem Gemisch von 400 Gewichtsteilen Zement, 300 Gewichtsteilen Natriumcarbonat und 100 Teilen Weinsäure besteht, dem noch 100 Teile pulverisiertes Wasserglas und 100 Teile Magnesiumsiliciumfluoridl zugesetzt sind.

Verfahren zum Imprägnieren von Wand- und Bodenflächen aus Mauerwerk, Beton od. dgl. gegen Feuchtigkeit unter Verwendung eines Imprägnierungsmittels nach Anspruch 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Imprägnierungsmittel als trocknes Gemisch unmittelbar vor Gebrauch mit Wasser zu einem verstreichbaren Brei angerührt und auf die zu imprägnierenden Flächen aufgetragen wird.
