It is known that cleaning fluids made from chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene and the like, can be added to finely divided, solid, insoluble substances in order to increase the cleaning effect. In this way, in addition to soluble impurities such as oils, fats and the like, insoluble impurities are also possible. / .. H. Storage dust, abrasives, etc., to be removed from the items to be cleaned. Wood flour, asbestos fibers, pieces of leather, textile fibers and the like are usually used as finely divided substances. The disadvantage is that after cleaning and evaporation of the solvent, the finely divided, solid substances adhere to the items to be cleaned, which also occur in a rinsing bath can not be removed, so that the objects must be freed from it by uneconomical manual labor.

Reinigungsmittel, wie Chlorkohlenwasserstoffe, Petroleum,It has now been found that, as a finely divided, solid substance, the cleaning fluids, such as B. trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene, petroleum, gasoline, oils, aqueous solutions of Salts, alkalis and the like, is added, spherical polyvinyl chloride mainly with a Diameter of 0.5 to 1 mm is suitable and that, surprisingly, the items to be cleaned in a rinsing bath becomes completely free of these polyvinyl chloride particles. For follow-up treatment it is advisable to use the same liquid that was used for cleaning. Cleaning supplies, such as chlorinated hydrocarbons, petroleum,

Gasoline, oil and the like can be used as such or emulsified. z. B. with water can be used.
