Man hat diesen Verhältnissen dadurch Rechnung getragen, daß man den Nabensitz gegenüber den übrigen Teilen der Achse mit größerem Durchmesser ausführte. Diese Ausführung bringt nur den vollen Erfolg, wenn die Überhöhung des Nabensitzes groß genug gewählt wird; sie hat aber ganz wesentliche fertigungstechnische und konstruktive Nachteile. Man hat auch versucht. durch eine besondere Formgebung der Nabe die aus dem Preßsitz resultierenden zusätzlichen Beanspruchungen zu vermindern bzw. auszugleichen bzw. die Spannungsspitzen an andere Stellen des Nabensitzes zu verlagern. Diese Ausfi.ihrungen haben nicht den Erfolg gehabt.Axle breaks in wheelsets for.
