Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kaffeekanne, insbesondere mit Filtereinrichtung, bei der erfindungsgemäß unter dem Boden ein aus massivem Material bestehender bzw. mit dicken Wandungen versehener Fuß angeordnet ist,dessenAufsetzflächevollkommen plan gestaltet ist. Hierdurch ist eine vollkommene Flächenberührung der Aufsetzfläche des Fußes mit der Herdplatte oder einer elektrischen Heizplatte erzielt und eine größere Wärmeaufspeicherung in dem Fuß ermöglicht.
