Nach der Erfindung wird dies dadurch vereinfacht, daß den unterirdischen Lagern von über Tag her .die erforderliche Wärme zugeführt wird, ohne daß es nötig ist, in die Lager selbst mittels Stollen und Strecken einzudringen. Diese Arbeitsweise hat sich für solche Vorkommen als besonders brauchbar und wirtschaftlich erwiesen, bei denen die führenden Schichten von geringen Deckschichten überlagert sind, die von Bohrlöchern leicht durchdrungen werden können.
