Description
Ski pole The ski poles previously used existed. from a stick on whose. the lower end was attached in a movable snow plate. This plate mostly consisted of. an outer ring connected by leather straps with was connected to an inner one. The plate was attached to the rod with leather loops, cotter pins tr. d-1. movably attached.
The disadvantage was that most of them were cut from leather waste Belts varied in strength due to the always uneven loads stretched and thus hung so obliquely on the bars that they no longer serve their purpose - The belt tension also had the disadvantage that it ate what had become wet Leather became hard when drying and cracked easily the next time it was used. Further a weakening of the rod occurred through the cross bores for the split pins, which should hold the plate. The manufacture and attachment of the plates required a large number of operations and therefore made it more expensive.
These disadvantages are avoided by the illustrated invention.
The redesign consists of a drawn or pressed Tell @ era, which has a funnel-shaped hole b in the middle, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than that of the lower rod attachment c. The tip of the rod e is pressed into the plate as far as it will go, using the spring force of the funnel-shaped hole b. Now can. the plate a. move on the tapered rod part d and adapt to any rod inclination up to 45 °. It can never happen that the axis of the plate and the axis of the rod form an angle of 90 °, whereby the ski pole would slide into the deep snow without resistance. The stronger rod diameter e protects against upward pressure, which, in addition, could only reduce the hole b in the event of excessive stress. In addition, the plate eats never to be lost.
