Brieffalt- und -verschließmaschine Die Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zum Falten von Briefbogen sowie zum Füllen und Schließen von " Faltbriefumschlägen mittels Faltplatten bzw. gegeneinandergefiihrter Preßplatten. Derartige Vorrichtungen sind bereits bekannt. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß auf einer als Auflagefläche für den Briefbogen dienenden Grundplatte die eine Faltplatte gegen eine zu ihr parallele zweite Faltplatte verschiebbar angeordnet ist, die unter Einwirkung der ersten Faltplatte gegen Federdruck um eine waagerechte Achse aus ihrer zunächst zur ersten Faltplatte parallelen Lage in eine nach unten offene Spreizstellung verschw enkbar ist.
