Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Bauplatten aus Holzwolle und hydraulischen Bindemitteln Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Bauplatten aus Holzwolle und hydraulischen Bindemitteln, wie Zement. ` Es ist schon früher bekannt gewesen, daß man Zement und Holzwolle in Bauplatten verbinden kann. Zu diesem Zwecke wurde aber die Holzwolle zuerst vorimprägniert. Gemäß der Erfindung wurde festgestellt, daß die Verbindung von Holzwolle und Zement auch ohne Vorimprägnierung sehr gut möglich ist, wenn man die Holzwolle zuerst mit Dampf behandelt und nachher mit Zement vermischt. Eine andere Lösung desselben Erfindungsgedankens bildet die Ausführung, in welcher, man ebenfalls Dampf zum Zweck der Entfernung von Essigsäure, Aceton, Harz usw. verwendet, wobei man große Holzstücke, aus welchen man Holzwolle herzustellen beabsichtigt, mit Dampfe behandelt, so daß die Holzwolle selbst der Behandlung mit Dampf nicht mehr unterworfen zu werden braucht. Die Bearbeitung der fertigen Holzwolle mit Dampf hat den Nachteil, daß die Holzwolle viel Raum erfordert und daß große Kesselräume notwendig sind. Bei der Bearbeitung von Rohholz mit Dampf sind keine großen Ausgaben für die Anschaffung großer Kesseleinrichtungen nötig, auch die Kosten der Bearbeitung sind vermindert, da hierbei viel kleinere Räume nötig sind und die Arbeit billiger ist. Weiter sind keine großen Überdrucke notwendig, und das Verfahren kann in den bekannten Dampfkammern oder in unterirdischen Dampflöchern mit einem sehr kleinen Dampfüberdruck, z. B. mit Abdampf von etwa o,5 Atm.
