Man weiß zwar, daß manche Stoffe durch Schütteln aus dem Gel- in den Sol-Zustand übergeführt werden können (Thixotropie). Beim vorliegenden Verfahren ist aber ein wirkliches Vermahlen eines bereits bei Gegenwart von Schutzkolloid gefällten Stoffes erforderlich. Eine Rückbildung des Gels tritt im Ruhezustand auch nach mehrwöchentlicher Beobachtungsdauer nicht ein. Bei Cerverbindungen würde übrigens Thixotropie bisher nicht beschrieben. Beispiel i io Teile Cernitrat, gelöst in iooo Teilen destilliertem Wasser, fällt man mit einer Lösung von i5 Teilen Oxalsäure und 3 .Teilen Gummiarabikum in ioo Teilen Wasser. Der Niederschlag' wird absitzen gelassen, zweibis dreimal mit Wasser gewaschen und naß unter Zusatz von 2 Teilen Gummiarabikum in einer Kugelmühle vermahlen. Nach einiger Zeit -hat sich eine kolloide Lösung von Ceroxalat gebildet, aus welcher man durch Eindunsten ein festes, kolloidlösliches trockenpräparat erhalten kann. Außer Gummiarabikum kann man auch andere Schutzkolloide, z. B, Oxydationsprodukte oder Spaltungsprodukte von Eiweißstoffen, verwenden. Beispiel 2 io Teile Cernitrat, gelöst in iooo Teilen destilliertem Wasser, werden mit einer Lösung von 2i Teilen Natriumphosphat und 7 Teilen Gummiarabikum in ioo Teilen Wasser gefällt. .Der Niederschlag wird gewaschen und naß vermahlen. Nach längerem Mahlen erhält man eine kolloide Lösung von Cerphosphat. Die neuen kolloiden, also wasserlöslichen Formen der unlöslichen Cersalze erweisen sich für therapeutische Zwecke besonders wertvoll. @ So hat das kolloide Ceroxalat z. B. vor dem gegen Erbrechen bereits vorgeschlagenen kristallisierten bzw. gefällten Geroxalat den Vorteil, daß es sich ohne Schwierigkeiten vom Kranken einnehmen läßt und infolge seiner Löslichkeit besonders schnell zur Wirkung kommt.It is known that some substances can be converted from the gel to the sol state by shaking them (thixotropy).
