Verfahren zum Färben von tierischen Fasern mit IVIetallkomplexverbindungen von organischen sauren Farbstoffen Gegenstand des Patents 604 404 ist ein Verfahren zum Färben von tierischen Fasern mit Metallkomplexverbindungen von organischen sauren Farbstoffen, darin bestehend, daß man das Färben mit diesen Farbstoffen in normalsauren, für gewöhnliche saure Farbstoffe üblichen Bädern, also mit viel geringerer Schwefelsäuremenge als bisher ausführt, und zwar in Gegenwart von wasser-'löslichen Schutzkolloiden, wie beispielsweise Leim, wasserlöslichen Eiweißverbindungen oder deren Abbauprodukten, Stärke, Dextrin, Zuckerderivaten oder Sulfitcelluloseablaugen. Durch die Verringerung der Säuremengen und durch das Zusetzen der Schutzkolloide wird eine bessere Ausnutzung der Färbebäder und eine gute Gleichmäßigkeit der Färbungen erzielt.
