Description
The invention relates to a moving grate for underwind operation with inclined to the rear and up the fuel-promoting grate members, which alternate in front and are moved back, and consists in that on the one hand in the width direction of the grate adjacent grate bars alternately attached at different heights and in the sides of the higher grate bars above the neighboring grate bars at an angle Downward opening air slots in the entire length of the grate bar or part of it and on the other hand, further air supply openings are provided in the back and front surfaces of the grate bars. Compared to the well-known grates of this type, it is not only due to the known Downward inclined supply of air prevents any rust diarrhea and with strong ao under wind a ripping up of fuel particles is excluded, but it is also furthermore through the marked measures the accommodation of as much as possible free grate surface and thus the supply of large amounts of air, which in the With a view to the fact that such grates should work with a high fuel layer, it is crucial Importance is.
In the drawing, an embodiment of a grate according to the invention is shown.
Abb. τ zeigt einen Schnitt nach Linie I-I der Abb. 2,Fig. Τ shows a section along line I-I of Fig. 2,
Abb. 2 einen solchen nach Linie Π-ΙΙ der Abb. i.Fig. 2 such a line Π-ΙΙ the Fig.i.
In this embodiment, the adjacent grate bars are known per se Way in the width direction of the grate in height offset from one another. The grate bar 1 is therefore slightly higher than the neighboring ones in the width direction Grate bars 2. At Γ is the one adjacent to grate bar 1 in the longitudinal direction of the grate Grate bar indicated, which receives a movement in the opposite direction to the grate bar 1. The air is now supplied on the one hand at 3 in the direction of the arrow obliquely downwards into the one lying on the grate bars 2 Fuel layer and on the other hand at 4 also obliquely downwards to the Fuel layer which lies on the grate bars i '. The openings 3 are in Form of lateral longitudinal slots.
From the illustration it can be seen that as a result of the direction of the air inlets not only is it impossible to blow fuel particles upwards into the combustion chamber And also by this arrangement the rust diarrhea is practically completely eliminated, but also that as much free as possible Grate surface is created, which allows the supply of large amounts of air. The inclination the combustion air supply can match the respective fuels and the grate formation but is never upward.
