Description

  • Verfahren zum Schutze von Wolle, Pelzwerk, Haaren u. dgl. gegen Textilschädlinge Es wurde festgestellt, daß Thioharnstoffe der Formel worin Rein Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Arylrest und Rl ein Säurerest ist, vorzügliche Mittel sind, um Wolle, Pelzwerk, Häuten u. dgl. einen dauernden Schutz gegen Fraßschäden durch Motten und andere tierische Schädlinge zu verleihen.
  • Als Substituenben R können hierbei z. B. Allyl, Cyclohexyl, Benzyl, Phenyl, Tolyl, Methoxyphenyl, Chlortolyl, Trichlorphenyl als Säurereste R" die der Essigsäure, Valeriansäure, Stearinsäure, Ölsäure, Benzoesäure oder deren Substitutionsprodukte, wie die der Dichlorbenzoesäure, Phenylessigsäure, Parachlorphenoxyessigsäure, Hexahydrobenzoesäure u. a. m., verwendet werden.
  • Die Anwendung dieser neuen Schutzmittel erfolgt in der Weise, daß man sie in Lösung in hinreichender Menge auf die zu schützenden .Gegenstände aufbringt.
  • Beispiel i Die Ware wird mit einer Lösung von Phenylvaleryltbioharnstoff der Formel so behandelt, daß auf der Ware i bis 2 Substanz nach dem Trocknen zurückbleibt, worauf sie dauernd gegen Mottenfraß geschützt ist.
  • Statt der Valerylverbindung können mit dem gleichen Erfolg die Oleyl-, Benzoyl-, Dichlorbenzoyl- und ähnliche Derivate Verwendung finden.
  • Beispiel 2 Die Ware wird mit einer Benzollösung von Ph enylcapronylthioharnstoff der Formel behandelt, so daß nach dem Abschleudern und Trocknen r % dieses Körpers auf der Ware zurückbleibt, worauf diese dauernd gegen Mottenfraß geschützt ist.

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zum Schutze von Wolle, Pelzwerk, Haaren u. dgl. gegen Textilschädliege, gekennzeichnet durch die Verwendung von Thioharnstoffen der Formel worin R ein Alkyl-, Cycloalkyl-, Aralkyl-oder Arylrest und R1 ein Säurerest ist.
