Description
Electric gas cleaning system The invention relates to electric Gas cleaning systems with inclined gutters on their collecting electrodes for Arranged discharge of the precipitates falling from the electrode surfaces are. With the arrangement of such channels has the advantage that the on dust settling on the collecting electrode surfaces and falling off them, before it can be detected by the gas flow, collected by the channels and into the Collection space is discharged. In the previously known arrangements of this type there is now the disadvantage that the channels on the collecting electrodes are chosen to be so small are that the electric spray field is almost only between the spray electrodes and the edges of the gutters. The consequence of this is that the field is uneven and flashovers with their unpleasant consequences can easily occur.
In the following, an arrangement is shown in which on the one hand this Evil conditions are avoided and, on the other hand, good dust removal through the gutters is achieved.
According to the invention, the collecting electrodes are designed so that the distance between the individual channels is approximately twice the distance is the precipitation from the spray electrode. Will have a particularly good effect then achieved when the discharge electrode consisting of spray wires in the way is arranged opposite the collecting electrode occupied by grooves that the Spray wires opposite the middle of the gutters on the collecting electrodes lie. It can then get between the spray electrode and the surface of the collecting electrode Form an even spray field, which in turn ensures an even distribution which results in suspended particles.
In Figs. I and 2, an embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG Front and side views shown. i is an electric gas cleaning chamber, through which the gas flows in the direction of arrow 2. 3 are the spray electrodes, which are suspended from a cross piece 4, which is mounted on the insulators 5 and 6 is. A collecting electrode 7 is suspended between every two spray electrodes 3, on which the suspended particles charged by the electric field settle. to both sides of each precipitation electrode 7 now sit two inclined grooves 8, in which the suspended particles falling from the precipitation surface fall into and discharged from them to a common collecting channel 9. The spray wires the spray electrodes are arranged, as shown in dotted lines in Fig. 2, so that that each gutter approximately opposite the middle between two parallel to the gutters arranged spray wires is attached to the precipitation electrode, so that hereby the uniformity of the spray field is guaranteed.
