Description

Process for the production of a cleaning compound containing kleselguhr or soap. It is known to make quick cleaning soaps by add mechanically acting, finely ground products to these. The following can be considered: Kieselgar, finely ground glass powder, sand, porcelain and similar hard, resistant mineral or ceramic products, which remove the dirt by scrubbing. These funds have in their application the disadvantage that the objects to be cleaned are damaged or at least severely are claimed. This is how the use of sand soap removes the skin on the hands sore, and as a result. such a hard, sharp-edged one is suitable Powder only slightly to be mixed with soap, which is intended for cleaning the skin.

The invention is based on the idea that not only a purely abrasive The effect of the powder to be mixed into the soap is to be exerted, rather that added powder must have such a quality; which the dirt parts not only remotely, but also absorbs them immediately. Also measured from that Powder is required so that it does not damage the surface of the objects, So it is relatively soft and in turn wears out with use. Kieselgar z. B. is not suitable for such purposes because it is too soft and not at all cleaning, but only lubricating, although they are numerous Has cavities that would be suitable for receiving the debris.

Be.According to the invention, therefore, the kieselgar is sintered or melted, and by such means, which the structure of the Kieselgar on a large scale and leave the whole unchanged, but this at the same time has a greater resilience give against wear and tear. By converting the kieselgar into a product that retains their natural porosity, but is more resistant than that Raw material, a powder is obtained after grinding, which is an excellent Has cleaning power; but in turn wears out somewhat during use. It can that is, such a powder absorbs the debris that it removes, and at the same time it avoids damaging the parts to be cleaned as it is friable and so is the powder content of the soap or cleaning powder to which it is added, increased. With powders of this type, the fact that that they have an extraordinarily large surface area, and also that they are in the Cavities from the soap material or the like brought in for cleaning. Significant Are able to take up shares. Has a particularly favorable mix The following proved to be an additive to the usual cleaning agents: i part by weight of kieselguhr; - 3 parts by weight of kaolin, 0.5 parts by weight of water glass 2o ° Be.

This mixture is sintered at about rooo ° in suitable muffle furnaces, the product thus obtained, which has a certain resemblance to filter stone, grind and added to the soap or the like. Of course, the kaolin can also go through glass or other similar binding products are replaced.
