Abstract

The cover grill (1) for plate type radiators has air outlet openings formed by longitudinal ribs (6) which consist of metal sheet sections cut from sheet metal strips and bent in such a way that on the underside two flanges are formed on each rib. At least some of the flanges are interconnected by additional support elements (7). The two flanges are preferably of equal length and preferably all the flanges are connected to the support element. The support elements on the ends are angled by which they come to lie on the underside of a support edge.
