Abstract

A device for pressing one moving machine piece against another, preferably for pressing a moving press roller (38) against a winding roller (40) on a winding device, or against a winding roll forming on the above, comprises a pneumatic piston/cylinder unit (21, 22, 23). A variable precise pressure may be achieved by arranging a spring element (25, 26) in parallel with the pneumatic piston/cylinder arrangement. The moving machine piece is pressed against the other machine piece, either by means of the piston/cylinder unit or the spring element (25, 26), whereby the pressing force is greater than the counteracting force.
