Mit der Tiefdruckmaschine ist eine besondere Kühlanlage k verbunden; in dieser wird das Kühlmittel - Wasser, Sole, Luft o. dgl. -auf eine tiefere Temperatur gebracht und mittels der Leitungen l der hohlen Welle h des Kühlzylinders c zugeführt und nach Durchfließen der Kühlräume g wieder zur Kühlanlage k zurückgeleitet.
