Dieser Baustein ist länglich vierkantig, aber durchweg hohl, mit 3 bis 4 mm Wandstärke. Um nun die regelrechte (ohne Mörtel) Verbindung herzustellen, hat der Baustein am linken Ende einen vorspringenden Rand b, welcher in die am rechten Ende sich bildende Oeffnung c hineinpafst. Ferner hat derselbe auf seiner oberen Fläche d zwei kreisförmige Oeffnungen e und an der unteren Fläche ebenfalls zwei kreisförmige Oeffnungen f, welche einen vorspringenden Rand g haben. Die Ränder g lassen sich in die Oeffnungen e einsetzen und ist auf diese Weise jede seitliche Verschiebung ausgeschlossen. Die stabile Verbindung aber stellt sich auf folgende Weise dar: An dem vorspringenden Rande g, und zwar am. längsliegenden Ende, ist ein Haken h angegossen, welcher, nachdem der Rand b in in die Oeffnung c eingeschoben ist und die beiden vorspringenden Ränder g in die Oeffnungen e eingefügt sind, unter die Oberfläche des unter denselben liegenden Bausteines untergreift, wodurch von einem Stein zum anderen, sowie unter denselben liegenden eine feste Verbindung hergestellt ist. Diese runden Oeffnungen gestatten aber auch, den Stein nach allen winkelrechten Richtungen aufsetzen zu können und seine Verbindung in derselben Weise fortzusetzen; da dieser Stein in seiner Beschaffenheit hohl ist und auch von einem Stein zum anderen durch die kreisförmigen Oeffnungen die Luftcirculation auch nach oben und allen Richtungen gestattet, so schafft diese Circulation trockene, sowie im Winter warme und im Sommer kühle Luftschicht.This building block is elongated, square, but hollow throughout, with a wall thickness of 3 to 4 mm.
