Sind die von den Rohren a und b kommenden Leitungen vollkommen abgeschlossen, so kann dann durch noch weitere Drehung nach links auch die Abflachung i so weit gedreht werden, daß auch der obere Teil der Rohre c und d vollkommen geschlossen ist. Soll dann der Differenzdruckmesser angeschlossen werden, so dreht man den Hahn in umgekehrter Richtung. Es findet dann zuerst wieder ein Kurzschluß der beiden nach den Kammern e und f führenden Leitungen statt, und dieser Kurzschluß hält an, auch während die Durchgangsbohrung die beiden Teile der Rohre c und d miteinander verbindet, und zwar so lange, bis der Durchgang vollkommen hergestellt ist.
