Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung lichtpausfähiger Strichzeichnungen durch Gravieren in einer ursprünglich lichtempfindlichen Schicht. Es ist bekannt, lichtpausfähige, d. h. zum Kopieren auf lichtempfindlichen Flächen geeignete Strichzeichnungen, durch Eingravieren der Linien in eine ursprünglich lichtempfindliche Schicht hervorzubringen. Es geschah insbesondere in dem Falle, daß photographische Bilder in Strichzeichnungen aufgelöst werden sollten. Dann wurde aber in der bereit reduzierten und womöglich noch im photographischen Sinne verstärkten Schicht gearbeitet, was wegen der schlechten Durchsichtigkeit der Schicht recht schwierig ist. Erfindungsgemäß wird dagegen in der noch lichtempfindlichen, d. h. noch unreduziertes Silbiersalz enthaltenden Schicht graviert und die erhalten gebliebene Lichtempfindlichkeit der Sc@i.cht zu ihrer nachträglichen vollkommenen Schwärzung behufs Erzielung der für das Kopieren als Strichzeichnung erforderlichen Deckung benutzt, indem die Schicht, soweit sie durch die Gravur nicht beseitigt ist, nach dem Gravieren aasbelichtet bzw. entwickelt wird. Man benutzt z. B. eine äußerst wenig lichtempfindliche Emulsion, die dann nach dem bei gedämpftem Tageslicht oder künstlichem Licht vorgenommenen Gravieren durch lange und kräftige Belichtung oder auch durch Entwicklung des bei der Bearbeitung entstandenen Lichteindruckes geschwärzt wird.Process for the production of light-printable line drawings by Engraving in an originally light-sensitive layer.
