B. konzentrierte Blütenöle, die Benzvlbenzoat als Lösungs- oder Auszugsmittel enthalten, für einige Zeit in Gefäßen aus Galalith oder Bakelit aufbewahrt, so tritt die Abrundung des Geruchs ein, die sonst nur durch langes Lagern oder durch wiederholte Destillation erzielt wird. Man erreicht dadurch auch gleichzeitig eine Geruchsverstärkung. Genau ebenso verhalten sich z. B. Orchideenöle und Lav endelöle. Die Durchführung des beanspruchten Verfahrens kann in einfachster Weise dadurch geschehen, claß man für die Aufbewahrung der in Frage kommenden Parfüme Gefäße aus den erwähnten Kunstmassen benutzt.
