Nach Aufbringen einer neuen Platte werden die Siebe mit den darin befindlichen Kugeln ίο nach oben umgeklappt, so daß die Kugeln sich über die ganze Fläche der Zinkplatte ausbreiten. Während des Betriebes werden die Kugeln nach den Sieben zu durch umklappbare Bleche am Abrollen verhindert.
