Description
Aufgabevorrichtung für metallurgische Öfen. Die neuartige Aufgabevorrichtung soll Anwendung finden an Ofen, deren Betrieb es fordert, daß die Aufgabe des Durchsatzes dem Ofengang angepaßt in gleichen Zeitabständen erfolgen muß, ohne daß dabei eine Störung der Verbrennung durch Eintreten falscher Luftmengen oder eine Belästigung der Umgebung durch Austreten schädlicher Gasmengen eintreten darf. Bei besonderen Ofenarten, wie z. B. zum Rösten von Schwefelkies, wird der Ofengang bzw. Abbrand infolge unregelmäßiger Aufgabe sowie Eintretens falscher Luft und Austretens von Gas empfindlich gestört, womit gleichzeitig auch Verluste verbunden sind. Diese Nachteile werden mit der neuartigen Aufgabevorrichtung aufgehoben.Feeding device for metallurgical furnaces. Letztere ist einer bekannten Art nachgebildet und besteht in der gezeichneten Form aus einem Schacht a, welcher an der unteren Seite von einem Konus b an einer beweglichen Aufhängung c abgeschlossen ist. Mittels der Achse d, des Gegenhebels e und des Gewichts f wird das Offnen und Schließen der Kammern a durch Heben und Senken des Konus b bewirkt. :Nach Abb. i und 2 erfolgt dieses durch einen über die Ofendecke g umlaufenden Arm h mit Zapfen i. An diesem Arm la befindet sich ferner ein Zubringer k, welcher die Kammer a füllt und auf eine bestimmte Durchgangsmenge abstreicht. Dies wird bewirkt, indem der Zapfen i durch Drehen des Gegenhebels e den Konus b senkt und das Gegengewicht f diesen wieder hebt, worauf der Zubringer k die Kammer a füllt und abstreicht. Die Kammer a bleibt somit bis zu ihrer nächsten Entleerung mit Durchsatzmaterial gefüllt, und wiederholt sich dieser Vorgang dem Ofengang angepaßt in bestimmten Zeitabständen, die entweder durch einen beweglichen Ofenteil oder einen besonderen Mechanismus zwangläufig eingehalten werden.An essential peculiarity of this feeding device is that the chamber a is filled again with throughput material immediately after emptying, so that the passage of air and gas is prevented if the cone b is insufficiently closed.
