Die nach diesen zwei Arten hergestellten farbigen Kerzen erscheinen in der Farbe matt und werden zur Erzielung eines vielfach gewünschten Hochglanzes mit Lack überzogen, sei es, daß der Lack mit dem Pinsel aufgetragen wird, oder auch daß die gefärbten Kerzen in Lack getaucht werden. Die gefärbten Kerzen müssen also einer zweiten Bearbeitung unterzogen werden, um Hochglanz aufzuweisen.
