Description

Lockenwickler. Die Erfindung betrifft Lockenwickler, welche aus einem äußeren Rohr und einer drehbar in diesem gelagerten und nach Anspannen des aufgewickelten Haares feststellbaren Wickelstange bestehen. Sie besteht darin, daß die Feststellung durch eine Längsverschiebung von Stange und Rohr gegeneinander bewirkt wird. Hierdurch unterscheidet sich der neue Lockenwickler vorteilhaft von bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art, bei welchen zum Zwecke der Feststellung ein Klinkenmechanismus vorgesehen ist. Die erfindunsgemäß die Feststellung von Stange und Rohr bewirkende Konuskupplung besitzt demgegenüber den Vorzug, daß der Wickler in jedem beliebigen Augenblick festgestellt werden kann, während dies mit einem Klinkenmechanismus nur in bestimmten Abständen möglich ist. Ein weiterer Vorteil der neuen Anordnung besteht weiterhin darin, daß die Wickelstange nach beiden Richtungen hin gedreht werden kann, was bei Lockenwicklern mit Klinkenfeststellung gleichfalls unmöglich ist. Es besteht aber häufig das Bedürfnis, auf einem Lockenwickler eine linksgedrehte und auf einem anderen Lockenwickler gleichzeitig eine rechtsgedrehte Locke zu wickeln. Dies ist mit allen Lockenwicklern nicht ausführbar, welche infolge der Anordnung einer Klinkenfeststellung nur einseitig gedreht werden können.Hair curlers.
